Fantasy Football 2018 week 10 streamers

Streaming options to help you dominate your week

By: J.J. Gosh @jjgosh

For those of you new to fantasy football, or if you are just looking for a new strategy, “Streaming” is the idea of selecting somebody from the Free Agent pool or waiver wire based on favorable matchups. This strategy is particularly effective if you failed to draft an elite player at QB, TE, or DEF.

After a strong 1st half of the season, Field of Streams came out blazing to start the 2nd half, successfully streaming not only a top-12 option, but a TOP-5 option at all 3 positions. FitzMAGIC came back for 4 more TD’s, Heuerman had double digit targets and got in the end zone, and the Jets got the Dolphins for 13 fantasy points. We look to keep the scores rolling into another week full of byes. Check out the Week 9 results and picks for week 10 below.

QB Player Points Pos. Rank
1 D. Carr 7.34 23
2 R. Fitzpatrick 30.02 5
3 M. Mariota 24.80 8
TE Player Points Pos. Rank
1 C. Clay 0.00 n/a
2 H. Hurst 2.60 29
3 J. Heuerman 19.30 3
DST Player Points Pos. Rank
1 Dal. Cowboys 4.00 14
2 Ten. Titans 12.00 7
3 NY Jets 13.00 5

1.) Marcus Mariota – 27% owned – vs New England

Back-to-back solid outings with a Bye week in between, Mariota will play host to the Patriots where he will likely be chasing points. Expect more volume and hopefully more fantasy points than usual.

2.) Blake Bortles – 22% owned – @ Indianapolis

Bortles rushing ability keeps his floor relatively high, but his throwing mechanics and overall quarterbacking ability limit his ceiling. He should be a “safe” play, as long as he uses his legs.

3.) Josh Rosen – 3% owned – @ Kansas City

Looking to follow up his first multi-touchdown performance as a pro, he travels to Arrowhead which is never an east place to play, but Kansas City has allowed the 6th most points to Quarterbacks this season.

Tight End

1.) Ricky Seals-Jones – 16% owned @ Kansas City

Josh Rosen has to throw to someone other than Larry Fitzgerald eventually. The Chiefs have given up 50yds to 6 different TE’s this season which should give him a safe floor with some touchdown upside.

2.) Chris Herndon – 14% owned – vs Buffalo

A safety blanket for rookie Sam Darnold, he’s scored a touchdown in 3 of the last 4 games, he gets a matchup with Buffalo who is a bottom-third defense in defending the Tight End.

3.) Nick Vannett – 2% owned – @ LA Rams

Vannett found the end zone last week and in a potentially high scoring game against the Rams, Wilson could find his Tight End over the middle yet again.

Defense/Special Teams

1.) Green Bay Packers – 23% owned – vs Miami

The Jets just got the Dolphins for 13 fantasy points. Hopefully the Packers can get a few turnovers they’ve been lacking, to go with a few sacks.

2.) Indianapolis Colts – 8% owned – vs Jacksonville

Hedging my bets just a bit streaming the Colts against Bortles, something’s gotta give. Blake does have a tendency to give the opposing defense more opportunities than most.

3.) Buffalo Bills – 6% owned – @ NY Jets

The Bills have been a bit of feast and famine this year. Their DST has scored double-digit points in 3 games this season and has also scored negative points in 3 games this season. The Dolphins just got the Jets for 27 fantasy points, hopefully the Bills can find that formula for themselves.
