The NFL Playoffs have arrived but that doesn’t mean the fantasy football season is over. Of course, we still have DFS, but now more sites are offering to draft for the entire playoffs. You can also join some contests on Underdog. Pretty much every site is offering something. If you are thinking about joining a draft on any of the different sites available or are thinking of starting your own league, you have come to the right place.

It’s a bit of a different strategy of course since you can’t just rank the players but also the teams depending on how many games you project them to play. The NFL Playoffs are great and adding some fantasy football into it makes it even better. I offer you my rankings and postseason strategy as a guide as we try to take down some postseason tournaments. Let’s get into it with my 2021 NFL Playoff Fantasy Rankings.

Postseason Strategy

The top quarterbacks go first as they are going to give you the most points as they continue to advance. Also defenses and kickers are going to be drafted a lot earlier in these drafts because teams are getting eliminated so you want the premium teams. Stacking players on certain teams works, because if you hit you are going to be very successful. Of course, that could work against you, but you do need to do some sort of stacking, at least 2 or 3 guys on the particular team(s) depending on the quality of the players you’ve drafted from those teams. The higher the quality players the fewer players you need to stack. Fill out your playoff bracket and use that as a guide. Stay on top of injuries and draft the fill-in players. Look at what Cedrick Wilson did last week filling in for the injured Michael Gallup. You are going to be forced to take players from teams you don’t trust, just make sure you are drafting players that will give you points. The Steelers are likely going out early, but Diontae Johnson is going to be a better pick than taking Bryon Pringle or Demarcus Robinson on the Chiefs.

You are going to need a combination of players on premium teams and players who may go out early but can score points. If they do advance by pulling an upset then that’s a huge bonus. Make sure to check and get familiar with the scoring and roster requirements, as postseason leagues could be different than regular season leagues. One example might be the Eagles where you can grab someone like Dallas Goedert very late in your drafts and still get a solid game out of, even if they lose to Tampa Bay right away. Take some chances, stay confident and have fun. This is a mix of NFL knowledge and fantasy football so I encourage you to try it out if you never have.
