In 2023, history will be made in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars will play twice in London this year, which is the first for any NFL team. One matchup is in Week 4 in London against the Falcons. The other is in Week 5 against the Bills. Overall, this should be very interesting to monitor moving forward as Jacksonville has been known for playing in London. Now, they will spend two weeks in a row there.
Additionally, the Miami Dolphins will face off against the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Including games with teams such as the Chiefs and the Bills speaks a lot about what the NFL is doing with these International games. Clearly, they’re looking to build even more of a presence across the globe, and having games with star players like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in them is huge.
Last season, we saw the first NFL game played in Germany, which was between the Buccaneers and the Seahawks. That game was played at Munich’s Allianz Arena. This year, there will be a new German city featured, in Frankfurt Stadium.
