2023-NFL-Wild-Card-Round-Free-Picks-and-Betting-Tips

We hit our goal of 60% of the year going 2-2 last week and finishing 66-43-2 overall, going 50-30-2 on sides and 16-13 on totals. For the playoffs, we will start our record with a clean slate. It should be a great and exciting playoff and we may see some craziness go down.

Let’s get right into the NFL Playoffs with the 2023 NFL Wild Card Round: Free Picks and Betting Tips.

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers

These teams played twice this year with the 49ers winning both times, 27-7 at home and 21-13 a few weeks ago in Seattle. The 49ers covered both games. However, my pick in this game is Seattle. I think the spread is a little too high and should be more like seven points.

The coaching of Pete Carroll, Geno Smith, and this passing game should stay within the number. Overall, I lean the Over of 42 in this game (less wind and rain by game time), so you can roll with a Seattle and Over teaser.

The Pick: Seattle +9

Los Angeles Chargers @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Both these teams have been up and down this year, but both have finished the season fairly strong. That said, give me the Jaguars at home. I am not sure what Chargers Head Coach Brandon Staley was doing last week throwing out his starters in a meaningless game and now Mike Williams is out with a back injury.

Furthermore, I trust Doug Pederson more than Staley and Trevor Lawrence is used to playing in big games from his college days at Clemson. I lean the over in this game at 47, so another possible teaser here with the Jaguars.

The Pick: Jaguars +1.5

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills

I don’t know who is betting on the Dolphins this week, but it won’t be me. Skylar Thompson will be asked to do the impossible this weekend after Tua Tagovailoa was ruled out with his concussion symptoms and it looks like Teddy Bridgewater won’t play with the finger injury. The Bills will be playing for their teammate Damar Hamlin and will be on a different level emotionally than the rest of the playoff field.

Josh Allen has absolutely obliterated Miami in his career and it should continue this week. Miami will also be missing Raheem Mostert and even Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are coming into this game with injuries. It seems too easy, but the Bills should roll.

The Pick: Bills -13.5

New York Giants @ Minnesota Vikings

The Pick: Over 48

I lean towards the Giants in this game so maybe a Giants and over Teaser, but I think the best pick is on the Over. These two teams played to a 51 total a few weeks back and I think we will see similar results again. The over is 7-2 when the Vikings play at home this season.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Pick: Bengals -8.5

Lamar Jackson has been ruled out and this spread should easily be over 10 in my opinion. Whichever Ravens backup ends up starting between Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown it won’t matter, both haven’t looked good in their limited time starting. The Bengals just have too much firepower on offense are a well-coached defense and are playing at home. The Bengals take care of business.
