2024 NFL Mock Draft 6.1: All 7 Rounds — Day 2

After seeing five quarterbacks, eight offensive tackles, and five wide receivers go in the first round, the value continues to pile up for day two of the 2024 NFL Draft. Plenty of talented wide receivers remain left on the board, as well as several cornerbacks and edge rushers. Who are the players that could hear their names called on the second day of the draft? Let’s dive into the 68 picks between rounds two and three.

It’ll be interesting to see how the EDGE position shakes up after the first round of the NFL Draft this year. The top four prospects are locked in and shuffled around the ranks, with UCLA’s Laiatu Latu, Alabama’s Dallas Turner, Florida State’s Jared Verse, and Penn State’s Chop Robinson heading the group. The next tier, which will likely hear their names called on day two, consists of Alabama’s Chris Braswell, Penn State’s Adisa Isaac, and Washington’s Bralen Trice. Several EDGE rushers drafted after round one have the potential and tools to develop into starting pass rushers, showing how deep the class can be for the next level.

Fantasy Football Impact Of Day 2

Fantasy football owners will want to tune in closely to day two of the NFL Draft, as this is where some of the running backs will find their landing spots. Ranked as the top ball carrier on our big board, Texas’ Jonathan Brooks suffered a torn ACL in their game against TCU in November, but throughout the year, he showed RB1 potential for a fantasy team and displayed the tools to be a starting running back in the NFL.

Another running back we should hear called in the middle of day two is Florida State’s Trey Benson. At 216 pounds and running a 4.39, he has the size and speed to develop into an above-average back in the NFL. With a class not loaded with talent at the position, if he lands in an advantageous spot, he would get a massive bump in value and would be a player many fantasy owners would love to have on their team.
