49ers @ Cowboys Wild Card Weekend: Player Prop Bets

After the two games on Saturday, we look ahead to three games on Sunday for the 2022 NFL Playoffs. The 49ers and Jimmy Garoppolo take on Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys who are coming off a hot end of the regular season winning five of its last six games. I’ll break down some of my favorite player prop bets here in the 49ers @ Cowboys Wild Card Weekend: Player Prop Bets.

Dak Prescott Over 282.5 Passing Yards (-110 DraftKings) 2 Units

Coming into the highest over/under game of the weekend, I am expecting a shoot-out. This is going to be a game of yards and I love the over on Prescott. Ezekiel Elliott and the running game is not doing it for this offense, but the passing game will. Dak Prescott is heating up, again, at the right time as he just came off one of his best performances in week 18 completing 21 of 27 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns. Dak Prescott has gone over 283 yards seven times this season, most of them being when he has to put his team on his back and take charge. Lastly, the 49ers pass defense ranks 27th in the league. I’m very confident Prescott will go way over this number this weekend.

Ezekiel Elliott Under 68.5 Rushing and Receiving yards (-120 Ceasars) 2 Units

You may cringe on this one, but just remember that week 18 was a meaningless game for the Dallas Cowboys. If you look at Elliott’s combo yards this season he has been under 68.5 total yards eight times this season including seven of his last eight games excluding week 18. The 49ers rush defense is nothing to mess with either as they have been holding running backs on average under 80 rushing yards. The days of Elliott being a bell-cow running back look like they’re over and he’s splitting a backfield with Tony Pollard.

Elijah Mitchell Over 19.5 Rushing Attempts (+105 DraftKings) 3 Units

Elijah Mitchell Over 79.5 Rushing Yards (-110 DraftKings) 3 Units

The 49ers should be leaning heavily on their rushing game as they are ranked seventh in the NFL.  None better than Elijah Mitchell as the 49ers should look to be controlling the clock to keep the Cowboys offense off the field for as long as possible.  Mitchell has been well over 19.5 rushing attempts over the last five games and should easily smash that number as I am putting quite a few units down on it.

Secondly, if I am going over on his rush attempts, I am also going over on his rushing yards. In games where Mitchell gets 20 plus carries, he has gone over 79.5 rushing yards in four out of his last five games and did it in seven of his 11 games he has played in this season. You can see I am pretty confident in these stats, and you should play them before they change any more.

Deebo Samuel Over 29.5 Rushing Yards (-120 DraftKings) 2 Units

As you can see I am really high in the rushing game of the San Francisco 49ers. Dallas has been a middle-of-the-pack defense against the run, but that speed that Samuel has is something special. Deebo Samuel has had at least five rushing attempts since coming back from injury and has only been held under this number twice since it all started back in week 10.

CeeDee Lamb Over 62.5 Receiving Yards (-110 PointsBet) 1 Unit

CeeDee Lamb has been pretty quiet lately, but if I think Dak Prescott is going to go over his total yards, why not take the quiet, but the extremely talented wide receiver. The 49ers have a pass funnel defense and it just can’t be Amari Cooper and Cedric Wilson doing all the damage. Lamb can explode anytime and is well overdue.
