Fantasy Football – Average Auction Value 2023

In fantasy football, auction leagues tend to get a bit overlooked. While most fans like to draft and stick with the traditional snake draft style, auction drafts can be a ton of fun.

AAV, short for, “Average Auction Value,” is an accumulation of data, in which prices from completed auction drafts are taken to find the average price of each player. Think of it just like typical fantasy football ADP but for auction drafts.

You can use the customizable table below to look up AAVs for every skill position player currently being drafted. The table and graph will be updated regularly from here until the start of the NFL season, so check back often for the latest AAV.

Everyone has passionately different views on players. Many fantasy football sites have put out their own AAV. Personally, I would recommend getting somewhat familiar with what the fantasy community is paying for players. Be aware that the prices are not set in stone, but taking some time to get acquainted with the current AAV will give you a roadmap and insight into how much you can expect to spend.

This data is compiled from mock drafts that I’ve been running. Finally, they are 12-Team PPR, 1QB and Superflex drafts, with a $200 budget.
