Sunday kicks off the Conference Championship with a Week 17 rematch between the Bengals and the Chiefs. The last time these two teams met the Cincinnati Bengals came down from a 28-14 deficit to a comeback game-winning field goal by Evan McPherson and win the AFC North title with a 34-31 victory. This game is led by Patrick Mahomes as he is looking to make win his third-straight  AFC Championship going up against Joe Burrow and rookie sensation Ja’Marr Chase as they are looking to take the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1989. Let’s dig right in with Bengals @ Chiefs Conference Championship Round: Player Prop Bets.

Over/Under 54.5

Chiefs -7.5

Patrick Mahomes Over 290.5 Passing Yards (-114 BetUS)

Since the start of the playoffs, Mahomes has thrown 404 yards and 378 yards. His first game was just to put Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers out of their misery. In the second game, not so much. Patrick Mahomes was dueling with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. That was a game we all loved and wish we could get back. The last time these two teams met, Mahomes only put up 259 yards and did most of his damage in the first half of that game. This is his house, it’s his time to get revenge on the Bengals.

Joe Burrow Over 286.5  Passing Yards (-114 FanDuel)

If I am going to play the over on Mahomes, you know I am going to do the same for Burrow. With this high of an over/under, Vegas even knows this game is going to be a shoot-out. The last time these two teams met, Joe Burrow threw for 446 yards to tag along with his four touchdowns three of which went to Chase. We know this game is going to be bonkers and Burrow is going to do everything he can to keep up with Mahomes. This isn’t the Tennessee Titans. This is true football!

Travis Kelce Over 6.5 Receptions Made (+120 DraftKings)

This is a risky, but yet fun bet to make. Buffalo was a tough challenge and Travis Kelce was able to bring in eight receptions. The Bengals defense should be trying to do what they can to limit Tyreek Hill, Byron Pringle, and the other wide receivers that Mahomes has at his disposal. The Cincinnati Bengals rank 26th against the tight end position, and how can you stop him? You just can’t. The game momentum should be on his side and the Bengals will be giving up the plays to him.

Tee Higgins Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-114 Caesars)

If you think Ja’Marr Chase is going to repeat what he did back in Week 17, you’re crazy! This receiving core is loaded and the Kansas City defense is going to do whatever it can to limit Chase. In Week 17, Higgins was only able to achieve 62 receiving yards the last time, but last week against the Titan, he put up 96 yards. I see him going over the 70.5 yards easily as he has done it seven times this year, including the playoffs. Kansas City’s passing defense has been giving up the yards to the number two receivers lately. Look at Buffalo Bills Gabriel Davis going for over 200 yards last week. Higgins over is a must!

Ja’Marr Chase Over 85.5 Receiving Yards (+100 Caesars)
Ja’Marr Chase Score First Touchdown (+800 FanDuel)

Did you really think I would leave Ja’Marr Chase out of a bet or two?  This kid and his talents are just second to none. You can do anything you want to try and shut him down, But when you get to play with your native LSU National Championship winning quarterback, they know what to do. Their chemistry is some of the best with the best out there as a QB/WR combo. Not only has Chase gone over 85.5 yards over the last two games, but he has also gone over 100 yards.

Even with the receptions and yards, Chase has been putting up, he is on a three-game cold streak which is his longest of the season. His longest gap was two during Week 15 and Week 16. I don’t need to say anymore, because we all know what happened. He is due, and we know how this Chiefs defense has been playing. Might not be a bad idea to sprinkle a little on the first touchdown prop.
