Scouting the Nation – Top ACC Pass Rusher

Vincent Anthony Jr.

A prospect with freakish length, Vincent Anthony Jr. has all the tools teams will covet in an edge rusher. He can play either as a stand up rusher or with his hand in the dirt. Anthony Jr. has the play strength and length to set the edge and make an impact in the run game. Additionally, he does a good job of disengaging from tackles to make a play on the ball carrier, too.

Moreover, for a taller and longer rusher, Anthony Jr. showed off impressive bend and then the acceleration to finish. His length will be an asset going speed to power and using a long arm at the next level. The production showed up on tape, and Anthony Jr. really stood out against rival North Carolina. Recently, Anthony Jr. took a big jump in his junior year. All in all, he has the traits to be one of the top seniors in the country next season.

Aamil Wagner OT Notre Dame

In his first year as a starter, Aamil Wagner was fantastic. He started 16 games for the Irish and was battle-tested, going up against almost every top team in the country. What first stood out with Wagner was his natural movement skills in both phases. Wagner is excellent in space and is effective at the second level.

Furthermore, in the run game, Wagner is also able to generate good power for such a young player. In pass protection, Wagner shows off excellent foot quickness to mirror rushers up the arc. He looked like an eventual early-round pick off of his 2024 tape and should be next up in the long line of Notre Dame tackles in the NFL.
