DFS Stacks: Week 4 Winners
Every NFL DFS main slate for the remainder of the season is going to be absolutely loaded with strong plays across the salary spectrum. If you are building lineups for tournaments, GPPs, or large contests, it is absolutely imperative that you practice the art of stacking. Whether it’s a game stack or pure team stack, having multiple pieces of the most fantasy-friendly games on the slate is the way to separate you from the pack and push your roster to the top. Here are my favorite stacks to target this week in DFS Stacks: Week 4 Winners.
With that in mind, here are some of the top stacks for the Week 3 main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. I will also throw in a contrarian option for each stack in case these plays prove to be too chalky. So fire up your Soulja Boy, because we’re about to dive into some stacks on stacks on stacks.
Patrick Mahomes + Travis Kelce + DeVonta Smith
If you want to get the pricey Mahomes-Kelce ($16,200 combined) stack or the Mahomes-Hill ($16,100) stack, bringing it back with someone like DeVonta Smith is likely the way to go it. Smith is only $5,700 on DraftKings and is seeing 44% of his team’s air yards and has a 23% target share.
Say what you will about Jalen Hurts, but he has put up at least 22 DraftKings points every week, and two of his games have seen him put up over 35 pass attempts. Smith should be the primary beneficiary here as there has been no consistency in the game-plan for Miles Sanders and trying to get Dallas Goedert or Zach Ertz right every week will make you pull your hair out.
With George Kittle very questionable heading into Sunday, Kelce is in a tier of his own at tight end. He puts up WR1 numbers every week (24.3 DK points per game) and saves you the headache of trying to guess right on a punt tight end play. After two straight losses, this looks like it could be a scorched-earth week against an overmatched Eagles defense. I will try to have Mahomes in as many places as I can, paired with his playmakers. If Sanders of Clyde Edwards-Helaire beat me this week, I’m willing to live with that considering the high 54.5 implied total for this game.
Contrarian Stack: Jalen Hurts + Tyreek Hill + Travis Kelce
Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb + DJ Moore
The Prescott-Lamb stack is simply way too cheap this week on DraftKings, especially with Dallas entering Sunday with an implied total of 28 points, fourth-highest on the slate. I understand the Carolina’s defensive metrics look good so far, but they have faced the Jets, Texans, and Saints, all teams with quarterbacks who aren’t exactly lighting the world on fire this season. With top cornerback Jaycee Horn out with injury, there should be much less resistance for players like CeeDee Lamb or Amari Cooper. The Panthers’ secondary looks more vulnerable right now than their defensive front, so I will be prioritizing the receivers over Ezekiel Elliott unless Tony Pollard is ruled out (he was a surprise scratch from practice on Thursday).
A lot of football has happened since then, but don’t forget we saw the DJ Moore breakout party happen against the Texans last Thursday night. In that game, he saw 12 targets for eight catches and 126 yards, becoming the clear focal point once Christian McCaffrey left with injury. While Robby Anderson may have the big play ability, and Chuba Hubbard has the low $5,900 salary, Moore looks to be the safest play, and the receiver who will see the most volume. He only got a $700 price bump to $6,600 after his masterpiece against the Texans.
Contrarian Stack: Ezekiel Elliott + Sam Darnold + Robby Anderson

Derrick Henry + TEN Def + Corey Davis/Jamison Crowder
Derrick Henry will likely be the most rostered high-dollar player in cash games this week and the Henry-Titans defense stack will pop up all over the place in tournaments,. Just keep that in mind as you’re thinking about how much exposure to bring to your rosters. Henry seems like a cash-game lock with AJ Brown and Julio Jones likely to miss this game. With those playmakers gone, he is a lock for 25+ touches as the Titans will look to play a ball control game and not make their inexperienced receivers do too much. The question in tournaments, assuming he is about 35% rostered, is how overweight or underweight do you want to be on that number? That’s the difference-making decision on this slate.
If you believe in this kind of thing, we have the revenge narrative working in Corey Davis’ favor for this game. Otherwise, you will have to consider that the Jets are seven-point underdogs at home and will likely be putting the ball in the air quite a bit assuming Henry doesn’t run all over them for 40 minutes. Davis has certainly cooled off since his first game of the season, but he is the only Jet seeing a respectable target share (20%) and share of the air yards (28%).
Contrarian Stack: Ryan Tannehill + Nick Westbrook-Ikhine + Jamison Crowder
Other Interesting Stacks
D’Andre Swift + DET Def + David Montgomery/Allen Robinson – Who would have ever thought we would have the old running back + defense correlation working for us from the Lions this season? Well, Swift is looking McCaffrey-lite and now we hear there may be more work for him? Whether it’s against a green Justin Fields or a hobbled Andy Dalton, the Detroit defense will make for a cheap ($2,200) contrarian play this week.
Antonio Gibson + WSH Def + Calvin Ridley – Ridley is still seeing a 25% target share and 47% of the Falcons’ air yards this season, so his big weeks are coming. You want to pass against Washington, and that’s what Matt Ryan will be forced to do. The Falcons allow 24 DraftKings points per game to running backs so far and allow top-12 numbers in receptions and receiving yards for running backs. Giddy up on Gibson this week.
Matthew Stafford + Robert Woods/Tyler Higbee + Christian Kirk – Everyone will be on Cooper Kupp again in DFS, even after his price rose $1,000 to $7,800 on DraftKings this week. But be assured that the Cardinals will as well, likely putting Tyrann Mathieu on him in this game. There will be a time when Kupp doesn’t get his 25 fantasy points, and Woods/Higbee will be the beneficiary. And here’s some free advice: Christian Kirk has been Arizona’s best receiver through three weeks.
