DFS Stacks: Week 9 Winners
DFS stacks are necessary when building a slate-winning DFS lineup. Every NFL DFS main slate for the remainder of the season is going to be absolutely loaded with strong plays across the salary spectrum. If you are building lineups for tournaments, GPPs, or large contests, it is absolutely imperative that you practice the art of stacking. Whether it’s a game stack or pure team stack, having multiple pieces of the most fantasy-friendly games on the slate is the way to separate you from the pack and push your roster to the top. Here are my favorite stacks to target this week in DFS Stacks: Week 9 Winners.
With that in mind, here are some of the top stacks for the Week 9 main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. I will also throw in a contrarian option for each stack in case these plays prove to be too chalky. So fire up the Soulja Boy, because we’re about to dive into some stacks on stacks on stacks.

Eagles-Chargers Stacks:
Justin Herbert + Keenan Allen + Austin Ekeler + Kenneth Gainwell
Last week against the Lions, we saw a completely different offensive look from the Eagles, primarily because they jumped out to such a large early lead. The Eagles scored four rushing touchdowns, but none of them were from Hurts, which was a surprise. Hurts (five rushing touchdowns) has more rushing scores than any two other Eagles running backs combined. Gainwell also was shut out as both Jordan Howard and Boston Scott scored multiple times.
But in what should be a much more competitive game, Kenny Gainwell should re-enter the picture as the fast-paced, third-down back who secures a healthy amount of targets. We can also trust Hurts to put up his patented garbage-time production in a game where the Eagles are home underdogs.
This looks to be a smash spot for Ekeler against an Eagles squad that allows the third-most targets, catches, and receiving yards to running backs. Overall, they allow the fourth-most fantasy points to the position this season. Mike Williams has seen a reduced role in the Chargers’ offense lately due to injury, which means Keenan Allen has been picking up the slack. Allen has the 13th-highest Consistency Score among all wideouts this year and is top-ten in both targets and target share this season.
Contrarian Stack: Jalen Hurts + Dallas Goedert + Mike Williams
Ravens-Vikings Stacks:
Lamar Jackson + Marquise Brown + Justin Jefferson
This is the most stackable game of the week on paper. The total has been bet up over 50 by Friday, and I count seven different players in this game I would be happy to have in my lineup.
Lamar Jackson is likely to be an uber-popular cash game quarterback, and I can only imagine the Jackson-Hollywood Brown stack will be just as popular in tournaments. The most logical bring-back candidates are Jefferson and Adam Thielen. As seven-point underdogs, the Vikings might have to abandon Dalvin Cook and the run at some point and start giving check-downs to CJ Ham again just to make all fantasy managers angry.
Despite giving up the 20th-most receptions this year (Keep in mind the Vikings already had their bye), Minnesota has allowed the seventh-most touchdowns by wide receivers. Overall they allow the seventh-most fantasy points to the position which makes Brown an elite mid-tier play and Rashod Bateman a very strong value cash game and tournament play this week.
Contrarian Stack: Dalvin Cook + Adam Thielen + Lamar Jackson + Mark Andrews
Packers-Chiefs Stacks:
Patrick Mahomes + Tyreek Hill + Aaron Jones
You have likely seen that the line on this game moved from 54.5 to 48 since Aaron Rodgers was ruled out. If you trust Jordan Love in Arrowhead Stadium, I respect that, but this screams out to me that it will be an Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon game. The Packers might not have two other quarterbacks for Week 10’s game due to health and safety protocols, so they are not going to have Love drop back 40 times in this one if they can help it.
Jones will be the clear popular play here, but Dillon is worth a long look in tournaments after seeing 40% of the Packers’ snaps in Week 8. He has earned a larger role in the offense and the rushing pie looks might it might be big enough to share with Jones this week.
There might be some dysfunction in the Chief’s offense lately, and they are committing way too many turnovers, but when it’s working it has to go through Tyreek Hill. Hill leads the NFL in targets, receptions, and is third in touchdowns despite four games with under 65 yards and no scores. He is the definition of a boom/bust player so far this year, and my prediction is this becomes a boom week.
Contrarian Stack: Jordan Love + Davante Adams + Travis Kelce

Other Interesting DFS Stacks
Dallas double or triple stacks
There’s not too much to be excited about on the Denver side of the ball in this matchup where the Cowboys are 10-point favorites. But you can stack up the Cowboys anyway you want, with paths becoming clearer if CeeDee Lamb misses the game with his ankle injury. The Denver defense has taken a major hit lately, allowing 126.7 rushing yards per game in their last three (season average is 100.9) and 254.7 passing yards per game in the last three (224.9 on the season). Without Von Miller, the defense isn’t getting any better and Prescott looks to be back to full strength. Load up on the Cowboys.
Tua Tagovailoa + Mike Gesicki + Brandin Cooks
The Battle of the One-Win Teams! Game of the week! On paper, the Dolphins seem to have much more offensive talent than the Texans. Oddsmakers agree, making the Dolphins 5.5-6 point favorites in this matchup. Despite the fact that most of Houston’s opponents have spent the entire fourth quarter rushing against them, they still allow the eighth-most fantasy points to the quarterback position and fourth-most to tight ends. The Texans also just traded their best remaining pass-rusher and released their best remaining cornerback this week; a white flag wave if I’ve ever seen one. I’m guessing this becomes a statement game for Tagovailoa to shut up all the critics who wanted him traded for the opponents’ quarterback.
Alvin Kamara + NOS DST + Kyle Pitts
Taysom Hill was to be one of the most popular cash game quarterbacks, but those hopes were dashed when Trevor Siemian was named the starter on Friday morning. What that means is we will continue to see a heavy dose of Kamara and he will have the most touchdown equity for the Saints. At some point, they have to limit his rush attempts, but as long as he has targets and red zone work, that’s what we care about. After another offensive letdown by the Falcons in Week 8, it’s tough to keep going back to them, but if you want a low rostered tight end play, why not play one who has the third-most receiving yards and second-most air yards at the position. With Calvin Ridley out for the foreseeable future, we are about to find out just how good Pitts can be in this offense.
