Dynasty Fantasy Football Stashes

Here we are, the Super Bowl is just around the corner and I couldn’t wait to get more dynasty stashes out for you degenerates. The fun part of this is you can check your waiver wires and add these players if available. So what’s a stash? A stash is a player who could be something or nothing at all. I like to find player’s that are no more than 50% owned. Some sites may be more, but if you have the roster spots, why not add them? These players won’t cost much and offer some longshot potential, so let’s get right to it with Dynasty Fantasy Football Stashes.

If you missed my last month’s stashes, you can find them here. For February, let’s get you four more you can add now, or get for the cheap!

Kyle Trask, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This one may be hard to get behind, or even obtain in 2QB leagues but if Kyle Trask is available on your waivers, stash him! Everyone in the world knows about Tom Brady retiring, so it makes sense at the moment that Trask would be next in line, right? With all of the hype around a potential veteran heading to Tampa Bay like Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson, this is a nice little window to buy the potential starter next year who has plenty of offensive weapons. Barring any free-agent signing, the easy answer is yes, and now is the time to add him where available. In deeper leagues, look to start offering a 4th round pick and go from there.

Tony Jones, RB, New Orleans Saints

With the news of Alvin Kamara being arrested after the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas. There’s no knowing what the New Orleans Saints will do to Kamara if anything. The Saints are $76M over the cap, and Kamara is $14.5M against the cap and $20.5M in dead cap if released before June 1st, but $9M over the next two years and an $11.5M savings if it’s after June 1st. I don’t see him being released, but a suspension could be possible. Jones didn’t show much, but he’s an easy stash at the moment. If there’s any chance Kamara doesn’t play next year, stashing Jones is worth the upside.

Mike Boone, RB, Denver Broncos

In 2020, Mike Boone signed a two-year, $3.85M contract with the Denver Broncos and will likely be a member of the team going into the 2022 season. If the Broncos move on from Melvin Gordon, Boone should move into the RB2 spot as a change-of-pace back behind Javonte Williams. Boone has always shown flashes but has really never gotten the chance to show what he could do with a significant role.

Jamal Agnew, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Many may have forgotten about Jamal Agnew as Laquon Treadwell stepped in after Agnew went out for the season with a hip injury. It was Agnew who was lighting up the stat sheets, especially those that count special team yards from week 4-11. Many dropped him once injured because he was a WR5 at best for most, but for deep benches, he’s worth a stash to see if Treadwell moves on and Agnew stays.
