Skyy Moore has the most complete release package in this class. Between press coverage, defender manipulation, and catch radius, Moore stands out on the field. Moore was initially recruited as a defensive back and operates with a great understanding of defender behavior to anticipate an advantage. He measured in with an excellent 40 time and the largest hands in this rookie class. Totaling just seven career drops during college, these large hands are a contributing factor.

So, why isn’t Moore mentioned among the top tier of wide receivers in this rookie class? His competition level in the MAC was a large question. With players like Greg Jennings and Corey Davis coming through, Moore moved up perceived draft boards quickly. He may be best in the NFL as a WR2 and most likely best suited as a slot receiver. Due to his size, he doesn’t profile as the prototypical X-receiver in an offense, but with his ability to create space, he should have no issue in the Y role.  After starting out as a projected third-rounder at the beginning of the process, Moore has cemented himself firmly as a second-round talent for the 2022 NFL Draft.
