Week 10 Fantasy Football QB Rankings: Start of the Week
Daniel Jones vs. Carolina Panthers
Raise your hand if you thought that Daniel Jones would have more fantasy points than Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes by Week 10. Nobody? Not surprising. Impressively, that is with three games of 6, 7.7, and 6.9 fantasy points for Jones. Finally, Jones has four games this season with 18+ fantasy points and two games with 22+ fantasy points.
The Panthers passing defense is in the bottom third of the league and is tied with giving up the most touchdown passes to quarterbacks at 17. Using our free D-PAC Score, or Defensive Points Allowed Consistency fantasy football tool at fffaceoff.com, we can see that this matchup is favorable for Jones. In short, the higher the D-PAC Score, the more often those teams give up fantasy points to the opposing position. More importantly, it can help you find “easy” or “tough” matchups to target or avoid.
As for the Panthers, they have the fourth-highest D-PAC Score. This means they give up the fourth-highest points to opposing quarterbacks. Notably, they give up an average of over 22 fantasy points per game to them.
Two weeks ago, Bo Nix put up 29.8 fantasy points (three passing TDs and a rushing TD) against the Panthers. If you have Jordan Love or Geno Smith on a bye, you could do worse than Daniel Jones as a spot start for the week. Start Jones with confidence as he wraps up this week’s Week 10 fantasy football QB rankings.
