Welcome back to another week of fantasy football quarterback rankings. Week 16 is here and that means it’s time for the fantasy football semifinals. If you made it this far, congratulations. If not, now is a great time to start getting to know the 2025 rookies in this 2025 NFL mock draft.
The bye weeks are over and that means everyone has their full roster to work with. Today, I’ll be breaking down my fantasy football quarterback rankings for the semifinals in Week 16. Additionally, I’ve sorted them into tiers and given you my “Start of the week”.

Week 16 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings: Start of the Week
Baker Mayfield QB Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Dallas Cowboys
Needless to say, Mayfield has been a revelation this season and a steal of many drafts this past August. Impressively, Mayfield is currently the QB5 for the year. Additionally, that is with him performing without star wide receiver Mike Evans for a few weeks, and Chris Godwin since Week 8.
This past week against a good passing defense in the Los Angeles Chargers, Mayfield scored 21 fantasy points. Now he gets to face a bottom-third passing defense in the Dallas Cowboys who also lost Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs recently to a season-ending knee injury. Not to mention, the Cowboys have given up the second most passing yards in the last six weeks.
Overall, it would not shock me to see Mayfield finish as a top 5 quarterback this week. More importantly, he should lead managers to a birth in their fantasy football championship game. Mayfield is my QB5 in my fantasy football quarterback rankings for Week 16 and is my “Start of the week”. Good luck this week!
