Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers | Tight Ends – Week 5
We’re nearly a quarter of the way through the 2024 fantasy football season as we flip the calendar to October. Today, we’ll be breaking down our fantasy football rankings and tiers for tight ends in Week 5 of the NFL season. Below, you will find my top 12 fantasy football TE rankings and tiers for Week 5. Each week, I’ll separate them into tiers along with my “Start of the Week”.
Fantasy Football Rankings: Week 5 Tight Ends
Week 4 was an entertaining time for the TE landscape with a breakout performance from Tucker Kraft, a bounce back game for Travis Kelce, and an unexpected top 10 showing from Blake Whiteheart. Last week was the first time this season that ten different TEs scored more than 10 fantasy points in full PPR. We’ll help you use the insights from last week to adjust your fantasy football lineups for Week 5.
Whether you drafted an elite difference maker or need a consistent starter, choosing the right TE can make or break your lineup. Our tight end rankings break down the top options by highlighting elite starters, solid plays, and potential sleepers. Whether you’re facing a tough matchup or looking to capitalize on a favorable one, these rankings will guide you in making the best decision for your lineup. Here are our fantasy football rankings and tiers for tight ends in Week 5:

1. Travis Kelce vs. NO

Week 5 Fantasy Football TE: Start of the Week
Erick All Jr. vs. Baltimore Ravens
Diving deep down the consensus fantasy football TE rankings, I have Erick All Jr. as a viable streaming option this week. The rookie played a season-high 60% of snaps last week, per FantasyPros, and continues to get more involved in the offense.
All Jr. has finished as a top 24 TE each of the past three weeks, the only TE to do that per our Consistency Score. This week, he faces a Baltimore Ravens team that has allowed the 2nd most total points to TEs per game and is worst in the league against TEs when schedule adjusted, according to our free D-PAC metric.
With bye weeks hitting and injuries at the position, All Jr. is a solid streaming option that is available in the majority of leagues. I’d feel comfortable starting the Bengals TE if you don’t have any of our top 12 ranked TEs this week.
