Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers | Tight Ends – Week 4

1

Three weeks of the 2024 fantasy football season have come and gone. Today, we’ll be breaking down our fantasy football rankings and tiers for tight ends in Week 4 of the NFL season. Below, you will find my top 12 fantasy football TE rankings and tiers for Week 4. Each week, I’ll separate them into tiers along with my “Start of the Week”.

Fantasy Football Rankings and Tiers – Tight Ends, Week 4

Through the first three weeks of the 2024 NFL season, the TE position has been a massive headache. In the first three weeks, we’ve seen a rookie be one of the most reliable weapons at the position in Brock Bowers. Meanwhile, household names like Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce finish weeks with zero and one catch. Not to mention, injuries to TEs including George Kittle, Jake Ferguson, and David Njoku. We’ll continue to help you maneuver this crazy tight end landscape and get your fantasy football lineups ready for Week 4.

Whether you drafted an elite difference maker or need a consistent starter, choosing the right TE can make or break your lineup. Our tight end rankings break down the top options by highlighting elite starters, solid plays, and potential sleepers. Whether you’re facing a tough matchup or looking to capitalize on a favorable one, these rankings will guide you in making the best decision for your lineup. Here are our fantasy football rankings and tiers for tight ends in Week 4:

1. Brock Bowers vs. CLE

2. Dalton Kincaid at BAL

3. Dallas Goedert at TB

Week 4 Fantasy Football TE: Start of the Week

Tucker Kraft vs. Minnesota Vikings

Going outside of the top 12 fantasy football TE rankings, I like Tucker Kraft as a streaming option this week for those needy at tight end. With QB Jordan Love potentially returning from injury, I’d expect the offense to open up and pass much more than the prior two weeks. Notably, Kraft ran a route on over 81% of dropbacks in Love’s only start (Week 1) per PFF.

Furthermore, the second-year player ranks top 24 in our Consistency Score. Basically, that means he’s been consistent and reliable. For the most part. This week, he faces a Minnesota Vikings team that has allowed the 10th most points to TEs per game, according to our free D-PAC metric. With the Vikings leading the league in sacks and Love returning from injury, I expect Kraft to act as a security blanket on underneath routes.

Overall, Kraft is a cheap gamble that may be on the waiver wire right now in your league. Personally, I’d be willing to hold the young tight end on my roster to see what this Packers offense looks like with Love. More importantly, I’d start him this week if I didn’t have a top tight end option.
