Week 12 Fantasy Football RB Rankings: Start of the Week
Kareem Hunt at Carolina Panthers
Picking any running back against the Carolina Panthers is low-hanging fruit but the matchup for Hunt is simply too good to pass up. It may also be a matchup where he will have the backfield to himself. Apparently, Isiah Pacheco may be slated to return in Week 13. Pacheco practiced in Week 11 for the first time since fracturing his fibula back in Week 2.
Using one of our many free fantasy football tools, the D-PAC Score, or Defensive Points Allowed Consistency fantasy football tool, we can see that this matchup is favorable for Hunt. In short, the higher the D-PAC Score, the more often those teams give up fantasy points to the opposing position. More importantly, it can help you find “easy” or “tough” matchups to target or avoid.
More importantly, the Panthers have the highest RB D-PAC Score and are ranked dead last in rushing defense. They allow just over 160 rushing yards per game with 17 rushing touchdowns for the season. In short, they’re the easiest team to run on in the league, making Hunt a “must-start” this week.
Hunt is averaging over 23 touches and 14.2 fantasy points per game since signing with the Chiefs. Enjoy Hunt’s last game as “bell cow” status to wrap up our Week 12 fantasy football RB rankings.
