Week 15 Fantasy Football RB Rankings: Start of the Week
James Conner vs. New England Patriots
Heading into Week 14, Conner had been relatively quiet the two weeks prior, totaling just 13 fantasy points. Well, this past week against the Seahawks, Conner put up 18.1 fantasy points and finished the week as the RB7.
If you read my article on “Running backs to buy for the fantasy playoffs”, you know that I absolutely love Conner. Not to mention, the entire Arizona Cardinals offense for the fantasy football playoff stretch. This week, the Cardinals and Conner are at home against the New England Patriots.
Eventually, the Cardinals may give rookie running back Trey Benson more looks in the backfield. However, I don’t foresee that happening this coming week. Against the Seahawks, Conner was on the field for 77% of the team’s snaps. Notably, that’s the highest percentage for Conner since Week 8.
Furthermore, the Patriots have a bottom third rushing defense. Before their bye week in Week 14, they conceded one passing touchdown to Jonathan Taylor, who rarely catches passes, and two to De’Von Achane. They have also conceded the sixth-most rushing yards in the league and ten rushing touchdowns.
Look for Conner do produce on the ground and in the air against this Patriots rushing defense and hopefully help your fantasy team advance to the semi-finals. Conner wraps up our Week 15 fantasy football RB rankings. Good luck this week.
