Best Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em Week 13 Picks
For Week 13, we have plenty of vital lineup decisions that we need to nail down. With our latest fantasy football start ’em sit ’em picks, we are here to help you optimize your lineup. Let’s get right into this week’s picks.
Start Em Sit Em Week 13 Quarterbacks
START – Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
In four of his last five games, Wilson has produced a decent to very good fantasy day. Despite the wintry conditions in Cleveland, he threw for more than 270 yards for the third time in his five starts.
Now, he’ll face another divisional opponent: the Bengals. Over their last two games, the Bengals have allowed 293.5 passing yards and three passing scores. Wilson could give fantasy managers another top-10 outing in Week 13.
SIT – Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
This isn’t a blanket statement that Daniels should be benched in all leagues. He has the ability to rush for more than 50 yards in any contest, giving him a safer floor. However, the Titans have a defense capable of stunting many of the top passing attacks in the NFL. No team has thrown for 250 yards against them in the last five weeks, keeping three of them under 208 passing yards. Notably, Jared Goff only threw for 85 yards in their Week 8 battle. Even with a decent rushing total, Daniels may disappoint again.
Start Em Sit Em Week 13 Running Backs
START – Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys
In four of his last six games played, Dowdle has had at least 12 carries. In three of those games, he has accumulated at least 98 total yards. He has also been an adept pass catcher, wrangling at least three receptions in four of his last five games.
In his previous meeting with the Giants, Dowdle averaged 4.2 yards per carry and scored on a 15-yard reception. Kick off your Week 13 slate with some turkey and a nice fantasy day.
START – Tyrone Tracy, New York Giants
Since the last time the Giants and Cowboys met in Week 4, Tracy has become the featured running back for New York. He’s had at least 13 touches in six of those seven games, running for more than 100 yards three times. The Cowboys have given up the fourth most rushing yards (1655) and the most rushing touchdowns (19) this season. Keep Tracy plugged into your fantasy lineups.
SIT – Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos
In two of his last three games, Javonte Williams failed to reach eight total yards in a game. That is absurd for a professional running back. In the last five weeks, he is averaging just 3.06 yards per carry and 6. 4 yards per reception. Even with the majority of the running back looks it’s hard to make a case for starting Williams. Cleveland’s eighth-toughest D-PAC Score doesn’t help his case, either.
Start Em Sit Em Week 13 Wide Receivers
START – Michael Pittman, Indianapolis Colts
Over the last two weeks, with Anthony Richardson running the offense, Pittman turned 11 catches into 142 receiving yards. He’s also been targeted seven or more times in five of the games he’s played with Richardson this season. The passes aren’t always pretty, but Pittman gets his chances when he’s out there.
Remember to pay close attention to the Colts’ injury report this week. With the Week 14 bye coming up, it is possible the team may give Pittman an extra week to rest as he has been fighting injuries this season.
START – Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
Over the last five weeks, rookie Ladd McConkey has caught six balls three times. In each of those three games, he has surpassed 82 receiving yards, twice eclipsing 110 receiving yards.
The Chargers have a great matchup in Week 13 against the Falcons, who are sporting the third-best D-PAC Score for opposing fantasy wide receivers. If Atlanta’s offense is humming, the Chargers are going to have to answer with the pass, led by McConkey.
SIT – Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers
It hasn’t been the season we were hoping for from Jayden Reed. He has surpassed 55 receiving yards just once in his last six games with less than four receptions four times in that span. With so many viable pass catchers in Green Bay, there are bound to be down weeks. However, that’s not something most fantasy managers can afford at this point in the year.
The Packers will host the Dolphins this week in another tough fantasy matchup. In the last five weeks, only the Rams have had more than one wide receiver eclipse 30 receiving yards in the same game against Miami. The Dolphins have also allowed the fifth-fewest receiving yards (2328) this season.
SIT – Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers
Samuel managed one catch for 21 yards last week and four catches for 22 yards the week before. Since Christian McCaffrey returned, Samuel has been basically phased out of the running attack with four carries for 13 yards in the last three contests. He’s not a player you want to force into your lineup right now, especially if Brock Purdy misses another game.
Start Em Sit Em Week 13 Tight Ends
START – Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
Dallas Goedert gave us a couple of fine fantasy performances before his 19-yard stinker in Week 12. In the last three weeks, he’s hauled in 11 of 13 targets with a touchdown and a high yardage mark of 61 yards. The possibility of DeVonta Smith missing another game and the success of Saquon Barkley on the ground could lead to more targets for Goedert.
Baltimore has the third-best D-PAC Score for tight ends. They allowed opposing tight ends to tally at least 53 receiving yards in six of their last seven matchups. Goedert looks like a solid play this week with touchdown upside. He was also our “Start of the Week” in our weekly fantasy football rankings and tiers.
SIT – David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
Averaging 8.8 targets and 6.8 receptions across the five games he played before Week 12, Njoku has finally started giving us the fantasy production we’ve been craving since the end of 2023. With his one catch for nine yards against Pittsburgh, followed by games against Denver and a rematch with Pittsburgh, we may have hit a bump in the road. Denver currently has the third-worst D-PAC Score for opposing tight ends and Pittsburgh has allowed one tight end touchdown since Week 5. We should hold back from Njoku for a couple of weeks.
