Best Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em Week 15 Picks

For Week 15, every single decision is a vital lineup decision that we need to nail down. With our latest fantasy football start em sit em picks, we are here to help you optimize your Week 15 fantasy football lineup. Let’s get right into this week’s picks.

Start Em Sit Em Week 15 Quarterbacks

START – Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins

After shaking off the rust for a few weeks following his return to action, Tagovailoa has had some pretty stellar output. Over the last four weeks, he has averaged 325.25 passing yards and 2.75 passing touchdowns per game with zero interceptions.

Houston is a very favorable matchup, as they have the fourth-best D-PAC Score for opposing quarterbacks. They’ve also allowed multiple touchdown passes or more than 350 passing yards in each of their last five contests. If you need a boost of confidence to start Tua this week, consider yourself boosted.

SIT – Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mayfield got a lot of us to this point, but he hasn’t given us the same production over the last few weeks. In his four games before Week 14, he surpassed 235 passing yards once and averaged one passing score per game. Now he meets a Chargers defense that has defended the pass well this season.

Notably, when facing defenses that are among the top 10 in the fewest fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (4 games), Mayfield has averaged 202.75 passing yards per contest with one game over 180 passing yards. The Chargers are also a top-10 defense against the pass. Unfortunately, it’s time to bench Mayfield in Week 15.

Start Em Sit Em Week 15 Running Backs

START – Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys

Dowdle should probably be considered an auto-start until further notice. He has accumulated at least 98 scrimmage yards in each of his last three outings and more than 120 yards in each of the last two. He’s got receiving potential, as well, with three or more catches in four of his last six games to go with his 6.1 yards per carry.

As if that wasn’t enough to convince you, he’s facing the Panthers as the best matchup for running backs, based on our D-PAC ratings. Start Dowdle with all the confidence.

SIT – Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars

Etienne hasn’t reached 50 rushing yards in a game since Week 4, despite getting more than 10 carries in three of his last four games. Even his receiving numbers are bad, beating 12 receiving yards once since Week 5. He also hasn’t scored since Week 2. I probably don’t need to tell you to not start Etienne, but I’m telling you anyway. In fact, I wouldn’t start any Jaguar this week.

SIT – D’Andre Swift, Chicago Bears

Swift has surpassed 59 rushing yards once in the last six games and hasn’t reached 40 rushing yards in his last three. He’s facing the Vikings, who have the second-worst D-PAC Score for running backs. Against this same defense in Week 12, he managed 30 rushing yards and 35 receiving yards. In the fantasy playoffs, you can’t afford to start a running back who can’t get you at least 10 PPR points.

Start Em Sit Em Week 15 Wide Receivers

START – Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers

The Panthers offense has been running more efficiently and a considerable part of that has been Thielen getting back into action. He caught 17 of 21 targets in the last two weeks, averaging 100.5 receiving yards in the process.

This week, he’ll face the Cowboys who have allowed eight receiving touchdowns in their last five games. Thielen is also no stranger to the Cowboys as he has eclipsed 70 receiving yards in four of five career games against them with three total touchdowns.

START – DeAndre Hopkins, Kansas City Chiefs

Last week’s touchdown marked the fourth time Hopkins has scored since joining the Chiefs. He has also scored or tallied 90 receiving yards in each of his last three games. In three of his last six games, he has been targeted nine times.

As for this week’s matchup, it’s a good one. The Browns are the best team for opposing fantasy wide receivers, based on our D-PAC Score. They’ve also allowed two receiving touchdowns or two 100-yard receivers in each of their last eight contests. Hopkins will be more than just a safe play in Week 15.

SIT – DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles

While missing two games due to injury, Smith hasn’t achieved 40 receiving yards in the last five weeks. In that same span, Jalen Hurts has completed fewer than 19 passes in each game and surpassed 202 passing yards in one of those five games. Frankly, Saquon Barkley has been doing too much damage on the ground and Smith is still second banana to A.J. Brown, leaving a small piece of a small pie.

Start Em Sit Em Week 15 Tight Ends

START – Noah Fant, Seattle Seahawks

A bit of a deeper pull here, well worth consideration. Fant has caught three or more passes in each of his last six games, twice totaling over 60 receiving yards. Not great, but not bad, either.

Here’s the kicker… The Packers’ defense is quietly being stormed by tight end production. In their four games since the bye, opposing tight ends have averaged 11.96 yards per reception and 74.75 receiving yards per game. They’ve allowed 82 and 121 receiving yards to tight ends in two of the last three weeks and six receiving scores to all positions in that span. If you need to dig deep for a tight end this week, Fant is a player you should be looking at.

SIT – Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions

LaPorta has caught 14 of 25 targets in his last five games with less than 20 receiving yards in three of those games, including a big, old goose egg in Week 11. The three touchdowns in those games had given us some hope, but it’s false hope.

Now, they’ll play host to the Bills, whose defense is the sixth toughest per our D-PAC Score. In their last three contests, no tight end has achieved 24 receiving yards in a game. That includes George Kittle (7 yards) and Travis Kelce (8 yards). Just let LaPorta’s sophomore slump conclude on your bench.
