Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 11
We are into the double-digit week mark and this week was another wild one. We saw Cam Newton return to Carolina and rush in a touchdown, and we also saw Aaron Jones go down with what seems to be an MCL injury. Trade deadlines are approaching in leagues, and now is the time to make moves if needed. Week 11 gives us bye weeks from the Rams and Broncos, so sorry to whoever has Cooper Kupp. The percent rostered is based on ESPN, and close to, or under 50% rostered. Let’s get into it with Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 11.
Quarterbacks
Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers, 12% rostered
Cam Newton is officially back and in his debut, he threw one touchdown and rushed for another. I would expect to see Newton starting soon, and he is a great option in Superflex leagues because of his rushing ability, and ability to score from the goal line. If you need a bye week replacement or injury replacement, don’t be afraid to pick up Newton and start him.
Running Backs
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots, 10% rostered
With Damien Harris injured, Rhamondre Stevenson cleared the concussion protocol and was given the starting role Sunday. He made a huge impact on a big day with 20 carries for 100 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught four of five targets for 14 yards. Depending on Damien Harris, Stevenson is a must-add, especially if you roster Harris.
D’Onta Foreman, Tennessee Titans, 2% rostered
With the Titan backfield a big question mark, D’Onta Foreman added to the confusion. He took 11 carries for 30 yards and caught both of his targets for 48 yards. He led the team in carries and was the second leading receiver for the Titans. He is a sneaky add this week.
Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers, 51% rostered
I don’t know why Chuba Hubbard is a free agent. Christian McCaffrey left Sunday’s game with an injury. While Carolina brushed it off, it seemed as if he could have flared up his hamstring. He was cleared of any head injury, but this is something to monitor. Hubbard took nine carries for 27 yards and a touchdown. He filled in for McCaffrey during the injury and needs to be rostered all over. The Panthers seem to want to scale back McCaffrey’s workload a bit and make sure he’s healthy for a potential playoff run.
Jordan Howard, Philadelphia Eagles, 37% rostered
The Eagles seem to be relying on both Jordan Howard and Boston Scott while Miles Sanders is injured. Howard rushed 12 times for 83 yards, second in rushes only to Jalen Hurts. As long as Sanders is out, Howard is a good Flex or RB3 option.
Boston Scott, Philadelphia Eagles, 36% rostered
Like Howard, Boston Scott is benefitting from Sanders’ absence. He rushed 11 times for 81 yards and caught both of his targets for 24 yards. Both backs have fantasy relevance, and the Eagles seem set now on running the football.
Ty Johnson, New York Jets, 18% rostered (Deeper Leagues)
Ty Johnson is quietly having a decent fantasy season. The number two running back for the Jets is doing work in the air catching five of eight targets for 36 yards. He only rushed two times for two yards. Seeing eight targets is huge, but now with Zach Wilson coming back, we would hope these numbers continue.
Wayne Gallman, Atlanta Falcons, 1% rostered (Deeper Leagues)
Well, this isn’t the Wayne Gallman of the Carolina Panthers. Gallman took 15 carries for 55 yards and caught one pass on two targets for 21 yards. Gallman led the carries by a significant margin, as Patterson and Davis combined for eight carries. Maybe we have another messy backfield here? If Patterson misses time with his ankle injury, Gallman will see a boost in production.

Wide Receivers
Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens, 33% rostered
This has to be the last week Rashod Bateman should be on waiver wire articles. He caught six of eight targets for 80 yards. He has seen six or more targets in all four of his games this year and should continue to see high volume.
Elijah Moore, New York Jets, 36% rostered
The breakout continues for Elijah Moore as he added another touchdown in garbage time, making that two weeks in a row. He caught three of six targets for 44 yards and a touchdown. Moore has seen six or more targets in his last four games and has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions, 8% rostered
Another rookie wide receiver to consider this week is Amon-Ra St. Brown. He is starting to quietly break out. He caught four of six targets for 61 yards. He has seen five or more targets in six of his last seven games. He is someone to keep an eye on in deeper leagues.
Gabriel Davis, Buffalo Bills, 3% rostered (Deeper Leagues)
Gabriel Davis was a popular breakout pick this offseason, but he hasn’t lived up to it yet, but against the Jets, he had a good game. He caught all three of his targets for 105 yards. He’s scored double-digit fantasy points in two of his last three games and has Josh Allen throwing him the football.
Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots, 3% rostered (Deeper Leagues)
Here we go again. The Patriots are making a surge. Kendrick Bourne is helping with a big game against the Browns. He caught all four of his targets for 98 yards and a touchdown. He also added three rushes for 43 yards. He was all over the field and is someone to keep an eye on in deeper formats.
Tight Ends
Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers, 46% rostered
This is probably the last week we see Pat Freiermuth on this list. With a backup quarterback, he still saw volume in this offense. He caught five of nine targets for 31 yards. He has been emerging as a breakout and should get Ben back this week to continue his breakout.
Dan Arnold, Jacksonville Jaguars, 26% rostered
Dan Arnold has been heating up lately. He caught five of seven targets for 67 yards. He has seen 10, seven, and seven targets in his last three games, and seems to be a focal point of this offense. He is a must-add if you need a tight end.
Austin Hooper, Cleveland Browns, 22% rostered
With Odell Beckham no longer in Cleveland, the target share is being spread around. Austin Hooper caught four of five targets for 25 yards and a touchdown. He is an add in deeper leagues or 2TE leagues. He has not been consistent this year, but with Beckham gone, maybe he sees more looks.
Gerald Everett, Seattle Seahawks, 3% rostered, (Deeper Leagues)
Gerald Everett is a dart throw, but with Russell Wilson back, maybe he can put up better numbers. He caught all eight of his targets for 63 yards. He has seen double-digit fantasy games three times with Russell Wilson and is worth a flier in deeper leagues.
