Things are heating up and most leagues have only two more weeks until the fantasy football playoffs begin. Week 12 of the NFL season was another busy week for wide receivers with bounce-back performances from Jaylen Waddle as well as the Chicago Bears duo of Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore. Last week also had several injuries to key players that will play on Thursday’s Thanksgiving slate; keep an eye on CeeDee Lamb, Tyreek Hill, and Amon-Ra St. Brown‘s practice status.

Week 13 Fantasy Football WR Rankings: Start of the Week
D.J. Moore at Detroit Lions
The Chicago Bears passing offense has had a resurgence under new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. Notably, they rank ninth in total passing yards and 12th in quarterback rating over the past two weeks since the change to Brown. With that success, wide receiver D.J. Moore has seen his fantasy football stats jump significantly. Impressively, the veteran receiver ranks 8th in total fantasy points at the position during that same two-week span. Additionally, he has seen seven targets in each of those games.
Furthermore, the Detroit Lions, the Bears’ Week 13 opponent, give up fantasy points to wide receivers at a top-10 rate. This unit that’s been giving up fantasy points is now dealing with injuries as cornerback Carlton Davis III looks likely to miss the game and rookie Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is on injured reserve. More yet, the game is indoors in Detroit, avoiding some of the weather concerns that come up at this time of year.
The Bears are double-digit underdogs, according to DraftKings, and will need another pass-heavy approach to keep up with the Lions. As a result, Moore ranks just inside my top 24 WR rankings and tiers for Week 13 and should be started confidently given his role in this revamped offense.
