IDP Fantasy Football: Week 4 News and Notes
Myles Jack (LB) – Pittsburgh Steelers
Jack has started off on fire with double-digit tackles in three straight games. With a high snap count, he is on pace to shatter his career high of 118 tackles. A change of scenery might be just what he needed. Look for him to continue to play at a high level and rack up tackles.
Nick Bolton (LB) – Kansas City Chiefs
Bolton had a great game Sunday against the Colts where he recorded his first career sacks to go along with nine total tackles. While Bolton had double-digit tackles in only three games last year he has done it twice this year in just three games. This week he gets to face Tampa Bay who has been struggling offensively and dealing with several injuries. I see Bolton having a big game and Tom Brady breaking another tablet.
Greg Rousseau (DL) – Buffalo Bills
Rousseau has had a great start to the season and has outperformed his fantasy projection each week. He has three straight games with a sack and is only a half sack away from his total from last year. In just his second year Rousseau is looking like he could be a great pass-rusher for Buffalo and a consistent scorer for fantasy managers. With Buffalo’s high-powered offense he will have many opportunities in games where he can just pin his ears back and rush the passer.
Kenny Moore (DB) – Indianapolis Colts
Coming off a great season in 2021 Moore has gotten off to a slow start this season after suffering a hip injury. Moore had just four games with fewer than 10 fantasy points last season yet he has two games with fewer than 10 fantasy points through three games this season. Hopefully, it is just due to his hip injury and he can get healthy soon and back to playing at a high level.
Fred Warner (LB) – San Francisco 49ers
Warner has failed to record more than seven tackles in any game this season, something he only did five times in all of 2021. This is worrisome as he relies heavily on tackles because he gets very few sacks, interceptions, or forced fumbles. In his five-year career, he only has 4.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, and 6 forced fumbles. He is on pace to have his lowest tackles in a single season of his career.
Joey Bosa (DL, LB) – Los Angeles Chargers
Bosa has been placed on injured reserve with a torn groin and will need to have surgery to repair it. He is expected to miss at least four games. This is a huge blow to the Chargers and fantasy managers. Coming into this year Bosa had three seasons with 12 or fewer games played and this season will likely be his fourth. This could be a ding to his dynasty value going forward.
