It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce the passing of Anthony Cervino. On Wednesday, June 4th, Anthony passed away suddenly at the young age of 40. Anthony was the founder of The FF Faceoff fantasy football podcast. He was better known in the fantasy football world as @therealNFLguru. He was the lead mind behind the Faceoff Sports Network brand and everything that has grown with it over the years. Anthony has been an icon in the fantasy football space over the last decade and has worked full-time in the industry for years.
More importantly, Anthony was a father, a loving husband, a son, and a dear friend. He was an extremely talented and hard-working individual with a huge heart. He spent a great deal of his personal free time focusing on mental health awareness among many other things, such as football, wrestling, and bodybuilding. Anthony was an extremely kind soul who was lost way too soon. He leaves behind his wife Maggie and his son Anthony.
We want to thank you all for your support of Faceoff Sports Network over the years. At this time, we will not be producing new content. We are unsure of the future at this time and want to focus our time and effort on Maggie and Anthony.
