Reportedly taking individual reps with the wide receivers at Lions training camp, the team wants to find ways to utilize the one-time Pro Bowler in the passing game more. They also want to find ways to get him the ball further down the field in open space.

Still just 22 years old, Gibbs is a cornerstone piece that dynasty football owners can build around. He joins Bijan Robinson and Breece Hall as foundational pieces at the running back position. Furthermore, the PFWA All-Rookie Team member plays in one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. In 2023, the Lions ranked fifth in points per game (27.4), second in yards per game (394), and fifth in offensive DVOA (13.8%).
Montgomery should continue to see significant snaps in Detroit’s backfield. The long-time Chicago Bear has logged 200-plus rushing attempts in each of the last five seasons. Nonetheless, with added touches through the air, Gibbs is a surefire top-ten player in dynasty formats going forward.
Between Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Sam LaPorta, there are plenty of reasons to buy into this offense. Gibbs is the long-term answer here at the RB position and is someone who has a ton of value in dynasty leagues.
