The Washington Football Team is set to play host to the Seattle Seahawks as we are set to wrap up Week 12. The current line of the game is even while the projected game total is 47. The Seahawks have a trio of running backs out for this game in Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, and Travis Homer. For the Washington Football Team, Curtis Samuel and Adam Humphries are listed as questionable, while Rickey Seals-Jones is listed as doubtful. Tight end Logan Thomas has been activated from IR and is expected to play.
MVP Options
Russell Wilson ($15,500)
Russell Wilson has had a rough couple of games coming back from injury, but now get the Football Team who has allowed the most FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks at 24.4. Over the last two games, he has gone up against the Packers and Cardinals who have been tough defenses, so I do not think we should box score watch for Wilson. Wilson still has elite pass-catching weapons, and a really beat-up backfield giving him the chance to have more passing volume. He has averaged 33 pass attempts the last two games, but getting the worst pass defense in the league should allow Wilson to shine.
Taylor Heinicke ($14,500)
While rostering Taylor Heinicke certainly does not give you a level of assuredness, he has put up solid numbers and has shown some 20 plus point fantasy performances. He has attempted over 30 passes in seven games so far this season along with added rushing upside as he is averaging 27.6 rushing yards per game. He gives you a safe floor and has shown the ability to flash for a really nice game.
Flex Plays
Antonio Gibson ($12,000)
While Antonio Gibson has been somewhat of a disappointment this season, his recent games suggest the volume is returning to him along with his health. Over the last two weeks, he has seen 26 and 19 touches, while going for over 20 fantasy against a very good Tampa Bay rushing defense. With a positive game script, look for Gibson to maintain his heavy workload against a Seattle defense who has given up the second-most FanDuel points to opposing running backs.
Tyler Lockett ($12,500) or DK Metcalf ($13,500)
Both Lockett and Metcalf have struggled in recent weeks, but that is largely tied to a struggling quarterback against tough defenses. This week should be a nice bounce-back spot as they get the Football Team who has allowed the 4th most FanDuel points per game to opposing wide receivers. Lockett has posted a 47-717-3 while Metcalf sports a 46-637-8, so very similar production outside of Metcalf being able to find the end zone five more times.
Gerald Everett ($7,500)
Everett makes for a nice value play and a cheaper way to get to this Seahawks offense. Over the last two weeks, his target share has gone up averaging six per game. The coaching staff has said they want to continue using him to take some pressure off of all of the downfield throws. With his increased role and the Washingtons’ inability to stop the pass, getting to Evertt in this game makes for a nice play.
