NBA Player Prop Bets and Betting Picks – 1/13/22
Klay Thompson Over 13.5 Points (-120) at Caesars
Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks (7:30 pm ET)
We know Klay Thompson will be playing under a minutes restriction for the foreseeable future. He is expected to be limited to roughly 20 minutes games. He’s played 19 in each of his first two games back.
Also in those two games back, Thompson has scored at least 14 points with a 17 point ceiling in his return while taking 13 and 18 shots respectively.
Thompson is a shooter and a scorer. He doesn’t need a ton of minutes to hit tonight’s 13.5 points Over agasint the Bucks.
This game will be big. The Bucks are the defending champions in the NBA and the Warriors are looking to return to greatness. Expect Thomasson to attempt a lot of shots tonight. If he gets hot, he should have no issues scoring 14 again.
While the Bucks are terrific defensively, they will be without Jrue Holiday, which will help the Warriors on the perimeter.
You can getThomaston at (+106) odds if you think he can get to 15. That is only one more point for plus odds. However, as I had said, this game is uber important. You can get (+390) odds if you think Thompson can score 20. It is a long shot, but not impossible.
Thompson scored 17 in his return.
Steph Curry Over 4.5 Threes (+115) at DraftKings
Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks (7:30 pm ET)
Staying in the Warriors-Bucks matchup, I am attacking Steph Curry’s threes. I know, I know. Curry has been cold from behind the arc.
In his past four games, Curry has attempted 39 threes and had only made eight of them, which is horrendous. However, Curry is a big game baller. He’s also played in 37 games this season and has made 5+ threes in 22 of them. Curry is destined to get back on track. He’s the best to ever shoot a three, after all.
Similar to what I wrote up about Klay Thompson above, Curry will also benefit from Jrue Holiday’s absence on the outside. Both of these teams are also top 10 teams in the NBA in terms of pace.
Curry will ball out tonight.
James Harden Over 8.5 Rebounds (+105) at Caesars
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Brooklyn Nets (8:40 pm ET)
With Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant sidelined, James Harden is in line to pop. The Nets are lacking for big men and are playing one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA. The stars are aligned for Harden to have a big night on the boards.
In fact, his Double-Double odds at FanDuel are currently (-550). His Triple-Double at (+220)
Vegas is also expecting a big night from Harden.
Since Christmas, Harden has played in nine games and has grabbed 9+ rebounds in four of them. He is also averaging 7.7 rebounds per game on the year and we only need 1.3 more to cash this ticket without two of the biggest stars in the NBA playing.

I think prop bets are sucker bets and I avoid them like the plague.
