NFL DFS: Week 15 FanDuel Picks
Thanks for reading our weekly FanDuel DFS column. Our goal with this column is to highlight less obvious roster moves strictly on FanDuel. Everyone knows that a Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce stack is a popular move, and that Derrick Henry is worth the premium. But here, we want to highlight uncommon players to help you differentiate your lineups. Now, let’s make some money with NFL DFS: Week 15 FanDuel Picks.
Week 15 Quick Notes
This week has been by far the most chaotic in the NFL world this season, with over 100 players testing positive for COVID-19 and several games either postponed or in jeopardy of being postponed. Both the Los Angeles Rams versus Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Football Team versus Philadelphia Eagles games have been canceled.
On FanDuel, the players on these teams are still in the main slate but will score zero points. That’s right, you can still put Matthew Stafford and D.K. Metcalf in your lineup, but because their game will not happen on Sunday, they will score zero points for your team.
Fortunately, FanDuel has indicated all these players as Out, but that only means they’re only out for the purposes of the Sunday slate, not necessarily out for their game.
This also means that any subsequent postponements will result in players earning zero points on the slate. Because of that, I highly recommend checking your lineups before 1:00 on Sunday and staying tuned to the most recent news.
Stacks
Aaron Rodgers ($7,600), Davante Adams ($8,500)
Correlate: Mark Andrews ($7,400)
With so few games on Sunday, finding unique stacks is challenging. It’s likely easier to get different elsewhere in your lineup, particularly at wide receiver. My favorite stack this week is a simple one, targeting Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. This is especially useful in cash lineups, as this crew will give you a solid floor.
If you’re looking to get different in tournament settings, there’s always Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($5,500) and Allen Lazard ($5,300) on the Green Bay side. And if you want to get really weird, I’d consider Tyler Huntley ($6,400) if he indeed gets the start, as he will have a full week of practice under his belt, and finished last week with 17.3 FanDuel points despite two turnovers and not playing the entire game.
Tua Tagovailoa ($7,400), DeVante Parker ($5,800)
Correlate: Michael Carter ($5,900)
Here we have a mixture of a stack and a value play, as the Miami Dolphins take on the New York Jets. The logic here is simply: it’s the Jets. If you read these articles regularly, you’ll know I’m also a fan of Tua Tagovailoa and think he is one of the more underrated quarterbacks in the league.
Coming out of the bye week and against the Jets, I expect Tagovailoa to succeed, providing you a solid floor while allowing you to pay up elsewhere in your lineup. And with no Jalen Waddle this week, look for DeVante Parker to carry the load at receiver.

Value Plays
Michael Carter ($5,900)
Currently, Michael Carter is trending towards playing on Sunday and has the potential to play a significant role in the Jet’s offensive strategy. The Miami Dolphins have strong cornerbacks, so most of the pass game opportunities are going to be in the middle of the field, or on dump-off passes to the running backs. Carter leads New York Jets running backs in receptions and is poised to have significant pass game upside on Sunday.
Myles Gaskin ($6,600)
The third-year running back has taken on a more prominent role in the Miami backfield over the past few weeks, in part due to some injury troubles for other running backs. That said, Myles Gaskin recorded 26 total touches when Miami faced the Jets in Week 11 and found his way into the endzone as well. With Salvon Ahmen the only other active running back, I expect Gaskin to get most of the carry this week.
DeVante Parker ($5,800)
Overall, people, including myself, have forgotten that DeVante Parker is a thing. Parker has been out for most of the season and Jalen Waddle has grabbed most of the attention out of Miami. The last time Parker faced the Jets he had over 100 receiving yards on 14 targets and eight receptions. That’s a 14-point floor without even scoring a touchdown. I expect Parker to receive most of the targets on Sunday and should allow you to spend big elsewhere.
Brandon Aiyuk ($6,600)
This week the San Francisco 49ers face off against an Atlanta defense that has struggled throughout the season. While Brandon Aiyuk has had an underwhelming fantasy season, Sunday provides plenty of opportunities for a big day. Here’s my thinking.
Elijah Mitchell is out for Sunday. When Mitchell has been out, Deebo Samuel has spent a lot of time running the ball. Additionally, Samuel is likely to draw coverage from Fabian Moreau, the star cornerback for the Falcons. This should free up targets for Aiyuk to have a big day, albeit, he’ll have competition from George Kittle.
James Robinson ($6,300)
It has been rough sledding recently for the undrafted second-year running back. And for no fault of his own. But with coaching changes in Jacksonville, the feeling has already shifted, with Trevor Lawrence pointing to a new level of focus for the Jaguars. I know there’s no statistics or data to back this, but I think there is something to the feeling in a locker room changing, and I think this week gets James Robinson back on track and expect him to play a bigger role in the gameplan.

Miami Dolphins ($5,000)
Typically, I look for the cheapest defense I can stomach, but this week I’m willing to pay up, particularly in cash lineups. Again, the logic here is…It’s the Jets. Not only that, but Miami’s defense has been playing spectacularly down the stretch, and coming off a bye, are expected to continue that success.
