NFL Mock Draft 2024: All 7 Rounds – Updated Mock With Trades

NFL-Mock-Draft-2024-All-7-Rounds-Updated-Mock-With-Trades

Welcome to the most exciting week of the NFL offseason! All the hard work from the last year is finally being paid off this week. As a hopeful NFL Scout, this is what I look forward to each year. Not players’ dreams coming true but the kid version inside of the players’ dreams coming true. The 20-24 years of hard work has paid off for each individual eligible for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. Hearts will be broken, tears will be shed. This is what it’s all about. If you’re reading this, dreams do come true, just don’t give up.

If your name is not called, be better than you were the day before. Once again, here is Cannon Brisco from Faceoff Sports Network with my final mock of the 2024 NFL Draft. In this version, draft rumors and personal feelings will be shared. The first two rounds will consist of detailed input on why the pick was made. As for rounds 3-7, they will consist of the selection itself. Finally, we have full team results at the end of the article. Enjoy!

Updated NFL Mock Draft 2024: All 7 Rounds

Below is my 2024 NFL Mock Draft eating all seven rounds of the event.; This NFL Mock Draft is updated with my latest predictions with trades. Keep reading to find out where your favorite NFL prospects could be playing in 2024. Let’s get right into it.

2024 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1

1.) Chicago Bears (via CAR): Caleb Williams QB, USC

When you look at Caleb Williams, you think about his improvising offense. The play is never over when Williams is on the field. In all my years of scouting, Williams would be my No. 2 quarterback when it comes to being a prospect. For what it’s worth, Joe Burrow has a slight edge on him.

2.) Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB LSU

Adam Schefter made a comment recently that said something along the lines of, “Commander fans can go ahead and start the process of buying their Daniels jersey.” I believe the decision to draft Jayden Daniels has been made, and it’s probably been made for months. Days later, after Schefter’s report, Daniels reportedly “wasn’t happy” with not having a one-on-one visit with the Commanders and he may want to play elsewhere.

Personally, I believe Washington will attempt to smooth things over. Mostly because they don’t have the roster for a red-shirt rookie. All things considered, Daniels has to be the pick for the Commanders.

3.) Minnesota Vikings (PROJECTED TRADE via NE): Drake Maye QB, UNC

MIN receives: No. 3
NE receives: No. 11, No. 23, 2025 1st (MIN)

I’ve stated before that I believe the Patriots need to wait on a quarterback. This quarterback class is special but I don’t see how they can select a quarterback with how bad their offense is. Furthermore, New England has one of the best defenses in the league. Hopefully, they continue to build on the defensive side and make a run for Dak Prescott if he becomes available in 2025.

As for Minnesota, this isn’t a 2022 Saints’ situation. New Orleans traded for an additional first to build their offense, in which they ended up going after Derek Carr in free agency. Minnesota traded for an additional first to make a run for one of the top quarterbacks. Personally, I have JJ McCarthy ranked above Drake Maye. However, I believe the connection between Maye and Minnesota’s quarterback coach Josh McCown, puts the icing on the cake when it comes to making the final decision.

4.) New York Giants (PROJECTED TRADE via ARI): JJ McCarthy QB, MICH

NYG receives: No. 4
ARI receives: No. 6, No. 70, 2025 2nd (NYG)

New York compiled a ton of work on the quarterback class. I am a supporter of Daniel Jones, however, his injury history is becoming a concern. Giants can get out of Jones’ contract in 2025. I’ve noticed most people don’t realize that. Joe Schoen obviously felt that paying Jones was the best option for being competitive at the time until he could get his hands on his own choice of quarterback. As for Arizona, they trade down two spots and still land an elite wide receiver prospect while adding more draft capital for the 2024 and 2025 drafts.

5.) Los Angeles Chargers: Marvin Harrison Jr. WR, OSU

Months ago I would’ve been shocked if Los Angeles had taken anyone not named Joe Alt. Now, I would be shocked if they don’t go wide receiver. With the loss of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, the Chargers have to establish a No. 1 receiver for Justin Herbert. The connection between Justin Herbert and Marvin Harrison Jr. would be exciting for years.

6.) Arizona Cardinals (PROJECTED TRADE via NYG): Malik Nabers WR, LSU

Arizona acquiring more picks while adding one of the best receivers in the draft is a win. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers are too close to each other when it comes to “who is better?” If you can’t decide, why not acquire more picks and let the guy who falls to you help make your decision?

7.) Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt OT, ND

Tennessee is being overlooked for how good they can be this season. Their offensive line went from being one of the worst in the league to a potential top-10 line next season. Protecting Will Levis is the goal of this selection. Notably, Alt is a mauler in the run game and is hard to get around in the passing game. All in all, this is an A+ selection for the Titans.

8.) Atlanta Falcons: Dallas Turner EDGE, ALA

I think it’s safe to say that Atlanta will be taking a defender come Thursday night. I will say this, Alabama’s Dallas Turner isn’t a lock to be the pick. Texas’ Byron Murphy ll could be the guy. However, I believe that Atlanta is looking for an edge rusher. Rumblings are that Florida State’s Jared Verse will go higher than expected. Atlanta needs a guy for the now, not the future which is what Verse is. Turner is exactly the type of player Atlanta would benefit from selecting.

9.) Indianapolis Colts (PROJECTED TRADE via CHI): Brock Bowers TE, UGA

IND receives: No. 9
CHI receives: No. 15, No. 46, 2025 3rd (IND)

Indianapolis recently re-signed DeForest Buckner but in the meantime, they did something rare within the organization. Chris Ballard added a void year to Buckner’s contract which freed up nearly $20M. This tells me one of two things. Chris Ballard and the Colts are looking to trade up into the top 10 to select a weapon for Anthony Richardson. If that’s not the case, Chris Ballard is about to trade for Tee Higgins or Brandon Aiyuk.

For the sake of this mock draft, I believe Shane Steichen could do wonders with Brock Bowers which the Colts would have to trade into the top 10 for Bowers.

10.) New York Jets: Rome Odunze WR, WASH

New York is in an awkward spot here. The smart thing to do is take the best player available which is Washington’s Rome Odunze. I like Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert as a tandem so Bowers wouldn’t be the pick if it was my call. Adding Odunze to a receiving room consisting of Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams (who is on a 1-year deal), ultimately could place Odunze as the future No. 2 if the Jets don’t re-sign Williams.

11.) New England Patriots (PROJECTED TRADE via MIN): Byron Murphy II IDL, TEX

I mentioned earlier that the Patriots trading back is the smart thing to do for the future of the organization. Byron Murphy is a luxury pick for the Patriots if he makes it to No. 11. There’s no surprise about it, the Patriots’ defense is an elite group. Adding Byron Murphy would make the defense a serious problem.

12.) Philadelphia Eagles (PROJECTED TRADE via DEN): Terrion Arnold CB, ALA

PHI receives: No. 12
DEN receives: No. 22, No. 50, No. 161, 2025 2nd (PHI)

I was hesitant about making a trade here but the Eagles’ offensive line is in great shape, even after the retirement of Jason Kelce. The main priority for the Eagles during the draft is secondary, linebackers, and depth. In this case, Alabama’s Terrion Arnold is my No. 1 ranked corner and Philadelphia swoops ahead to draft, who I believe can be an elite player for years.

13.) Las Vegas Raiders: Quinyon Mitchell CB, TOL

Vegas could be a sneaky team to trade down if Terrion Arnold is their top corner. I do think that they could potentially trade up as well to make sure they get their guy. I don’t see them going after a quarterback unless a specific one that previously played at Arizona State demands to only play for the Raiders or they trade back into the first to select a signal caller.

14.) New Orleans Saints: Troy Fautanu OL, WASH

New Orleans’ offensive tackle, Ryan Ramczyk will most likely be out for the season due to his knee injury. If that’s the case, the offensive line will be the Saints’ priority. Fautanu not only gives a plan at offensive tackle, but his versatility could also lead him to kick inside and play guard.

15.) Chicago Bears (PROJECTED TRADE via IND): Jared Verse EDGE, FSU

Chicago trading down 6 spots, earning pick No. 46 and 2025 3rd while landing one of the premier pass rushers in the draft is a great haul. This offensive line and wide receiver class is so deep that selecting a pass rusher to pair with Montez Sweat would be a great idea.

16.) Seattle Seahawks: Graham Barton OL, DUKE

Quarterback isn’t a top need for Seattle but they could take one here. However, I doubt they go that route. I believe building the offensive line with versatility is the way to go. That’s why one of the most versatile offensive linemen in the class, Duke’s Graham Barton is mocked here.

17.) Jacksonville Jaguars: Nate Wiggins CB, CLEM

One of, if not the top need for the Jaguars is a corner. Nate Wiggins’ NFL Combine performance pushed him into the top 15 consideration. Wiggins falls into the lap of an organization that will showcase his man coverage skills.

18.) Cincinnati Bengals: Brian Thomas Jr. WR, LSU

In this mock, you’ll realize I didn’t trade Tee Higgins. I do think he gets traded so I had to mock his replacement. LSU’s Thomas Jr. brings exactly what Tee Higgins brings.

19.) Buffalo Bills (PROJECTED TRADE via LAR): AD Mitchell WR, TEX

BUF receives: No. 19
LAR receives: No. 28, No. 60, No. 160, 2025 4th (BUF)

AD Mitchell reportedly has character concerns but his talent outweighs that to me just like it did with Micah Parsons. We never know where these reports come from. For all we know, it could be a former teammate who is mad he left Georgia to go to Texas. Buffalo trading Stefon Diggs means they’re in need of a receiver. Why not get out and get a top 5 receiver in the draft?

20.) Pittsburgh Steelers: Olu Fashanu OT, PSU

I love Fashanu and believe his talent will outplay his small hands. He’s an all-pro caliber player who will be a day-one starter. As for Pittsburgh, it’s worth it to secure a blindside protector with their first-rounder.

21.) Miami Dolphins: Taliese Fuaga OL, ORST

Miami lost Robert Hunt and will need to replace him. Terron Armstead will possibly retire this year. Which means, a hole is open in the interior and outside. Fuaga can play both so it’s a perfect fit.

22.) Denver Broncos (PROJECTED TRADE via PHI): Kool-Aid McKinstry CB, ALA

Denver will most likely miss out on a top-tier quarterback this year so I think they should trade down. Adding more assets and a speedy corner to possibly pair with Patrick Surtain would be a win.

23.) New England Patriots (PROJECTED TRADE via MIN): Amarius Mims OT, UGA

New England is having a great draft so far. They add the best defensive tackle in the class and a top 5 offensive tackle. Mims is strictly a tackle and a tackle is what New England needs.

24.) Dallas Cowboys: Zach Frazier C, WVU

Dallas continues the trend of drafting and building stars. Zach Frazier fits the Cowboys mold that Jerry Jones loves to draft.

25.) Green Bay Packers: T.J. Tampa CB, ISU

A name that hasn’t appeared so far. I’m hearing that Tampa could be a sneaky first-round selection. I think pairing him with Jaire Alexander in Green Bay would be a great fit for T.J. Tampa.

26.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chop Robinson EDGE, PSU

Tampa Bay loves building through the front seven. They continue to do so by adding a developmental player who can turn into an elite pass rusher. Robinson reminds me a lot of the Ravens’ Odafe Oweh.

27.) Arizona Cardinals (via HOU): Laiatu Latu EDGE, UCLA

A potential top 5 pick if healthy. Latu medically retired before he decided to give football one more shot. His talent reminds me a lot of Miami’s Jaelan Phillips. Arizona gets one of the best receivers in the draft and potentially one of the best pass rushers in the league once his career gets rolling.

28.) Los Angeles Rams (PROJECTED TRADE via BUF): Darius Robinson EDGE, MIZ

Yes, you’re reading correctly. The Los Angeles Rams are picking in the first round. Replacing Aaron Donald isn’t going to happen so we’re not even trying with this pick. Darius Robinson gives size and power to add to an already dominant Rams’ defense.

29.) Detroit Lions: Cooper DeJean DB, IOWA

The Lions continue to draft versatile prospects so the trend doesn’t stop here. DeJean is someone who can be an all-pro safety or a really good corner. In the end, Detroit continues to add on defense.

30.) Baltimore Ravens: JC Latham OT, ALA

Latham could be a top-10 pick or he could be a second-rounder. Baltimore reportedly is scouting the offensive line hard this year. I think if Latham falls, Baltimore will snatch him.

31.) Las Vegas Raiders (PROJECTED TRADE via SF): Michael Penix Jr. QB, WASH

LV receives: No. 31
SF receives: No. 44, No. 112, 2025 2nd (LV)

Las Vegas is going to draft a quarterback this year. Whether it’s Jayden Daniels forcing his way to Las Vegas, trading up for one like they do here, or selecting a mid-tier quarterback, it’ll happen. In this scenario, I don’t feel comfortable selecting Michael Penix Jr. in the first round. However, having him on a 5th-year option clause could entice an organization. I believe Vegas would be the team to pull the trigger and move up to select Washington’s Michael Penix Jr.

32.) Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Worthy WR, TEX

Kansas City will most likely look to move into the top 20 to land a better all-around receiver. I couldn’t find a way to do it so I have them sticking at No. 32 and selecting the fastest receiver we’ve seen at the NFL Combine. Patrick Mahomes might have 3 new receivers by the end of the 2024 NFL Draft with all the issues last season caused by dropped passes. Worthy would be a home run selection.

2024 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2

33.) Carolina Panthers: Ladd McConkey WR, UGA

The Panthers are interested in the wide receiver class and I believe they’ll add a handful. One type of receiver they don’t have is someone who can get open. McConkey is someone who has great route running and can beat the defense over the top at any moment.

34.) New England Patriots: Bo Nix QB, ORE

Well Patriot fans, here’s (maybe) your future quarterback. New England will have to build a great supporting cast to give Bo Nix a chance to show what he can do. If he impresses, then the Patriots have a franchise quarterback. If he doesn’t, Dak Prescott might be a Patriot in 2025.

35.) Arizona Cardinals: Jer’Zhan Newton DL, ILL

Newton falling out of the first round is a shock. However, if Arizona can snatch him in the 2nd round, then the Cardinals have a serious building block on their defensive line. Newton will cause double teams which will also lead to pass rushers or linebackers breaking free.

36.) Washington Commanders: Tyler Guyton OT, OU

Washington had the worst offensive line in 2023. Commanders going quarterback at No. 2 means they’ll need to beef up the offensive line throughout the rest of the draft if possible.

37.) Los Angeles Chargers: Jackson Powers-Johnson IOL, ORE

I labeled Powers-Johnson as an interior lineman because I believe he can play center and guard. With Jim Harbaugh leading the charge, expect the Chargers to invest early on the offensive line.

38.) Tennessee Titans: Marshawn Kneeland EDGE, WMU

Kneeland is rumored to be a potential first-round pick. I don’t think he is quite there. However, adding a pass rusher to go alongside Jeffery Simmons and Harold Landry would set him up well.

39.) Carolina Panthers (via NYG): Braden Fiske DL, FSU

Carolina signed franchise defensive tackle Derrick Brown to a 4-year $96M deal. That doesn’t mean Carolina is done adding to the front 7. Florida State’s Fiske would be a phenomenal addition next to Derrick Brown.

40.) Washington Commanders (via CHI): Ja’Tavion Sanders TE, TEX

Washington released Logan Thomas and has a decent chance at taking a tight end within the first two rounds. Sanders is a player who is a vertical threat and can leak out on play-actions.

41.) Green Bay Packers (via NYJ): Jordan Morgan OT, ARI

Morgan could’ve been the selection at No. 25 but because of the run on defensive players, he slides to a great spot for his future. The Packers know what to do when it comes to developing offensive linemen.

42.) Houston Texans (via MIN): Kris Jenkins DL, MICH

Houston’s defense was on another level in 2023. This is a selection for the future as Jenkins would most likely rotate with Denico Autry and Folorunso Fatukasi. Two veterans that can pave the way for a great run-stopper in Michigan’s Kris Jenkins.

43.) Atlanta Falcons: Ruke Orhorhoro DL, CLEM

I was impressed with Orhorhoro’s combine. With the recent return of Eddie Goldman and defensive leader in Grady Jarrett, Orhorhoro would have a great locker room to help develop him into a starter.

44.) San Francisco 49ers (PROJECTED TRADE via LV): Patrick Paul OT, HOU

I have Patrick Paul as a developmental pick but analysts believe he could slide into the first round. If he does make it out of the first, I could see the 49ers attempt to draft Paul.

45.) New Orleans Saints (via DEN): Adisa Isaac EDGE, PSU

Isaac is a player I really enjoyed watching this season. He never gives up on plays and doesn’t stop until the whistle is blown. Chase Young might learn a thing or two from the rookie out of Penn State.

46.) Chicago Bears (PROJECTED TRADE via IND): Keon Coleman WR, FSU

A projected top-10 pick most of the year, Coleman’s flaws began to show. I actually projected the Bears to select him a few months ago, but in the first round. Now they can get, who I believe can be an elite NFL wide receiver in the second round.

47.) Los Angeles Rams (PROJECTED TRADE via NYG): Tyler Nubin SAF, MIN

LAR receives: No. 47
NYG receives: No. 52, No. 99

With New York trading up to No. 4, they lose picks in the process. Los Angeles and New York made a trade last year that helped the Giants acquire Jalin Hyatt. I could see another deal between the two if Los Angeles likes a player. Nubin is a great ball hawk that would be a huge addition for the Rams’ defense. As for the Giants, they trade down and acquire picks that they lost in the JJ McCarthy trade.

48.) Jacksonville Jaguars: Malachi Corley WR, WKU

Jacksonville lost their No. 1 receiver when Calvin Ridley signed with the Titans. Replacing Ridley will be tough but a guy that has the ability to is Western Kentucky’s Malachi Corley.

49.) Cincinnati Bengals: Ennis Rakestraw Jr. CB, MIZ

I was never a huge fan of Rakestraw Jr. However, he was one of the most talked about corners all season long. A team that needs a starting corner picks here so Cincinnati gets a player with high upside.

50.) Denver Broncos (via NO): Kamren Kinchens SAF, MIA (FL)

Denver moved on from Justin Simmons this season. Kamren Kinchens has great zone coverage and can lay the hammer on anyone. I believe he would be an immediate starter.

51.) Pittsburgh Steelers: Kamari Lassiter CB, UGA

Secondary is still an issue for the Steelers. They attempted the veteran route when they signed Patrick Peterson. I think they know it’s time to get younger.

52.) New York Giants (PROJECTED TRADE via LAR): Roman Wilson WR, MICH

The best thing the Giants can do is surround JJ McCarthy with weapons he’s comfortable with. Roman Wilson was McCarthy’s main weapon last season.

53.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (PROJECTED TRADE via PHI): Edgerrin Cooper LB, TAMU

TB receives: No. 52
PHI receives: No. 57, No. 92

Devin White walked in free agency. Now the Buccaneers will need to replace him and it so happens to be a trade scenario involving the team that acquired Devin White.

54.) Cleveland Browns: Max Melton CB, RUTG

Melton is a prospect I am curious about. He’s been busy with visits this draft cycle. Melton could be a player that goes a lot earlier than expected.

55.) Miami Dolphins: Christian Haynes OL, CONN

Double-downing on the offensive line is something I want Miami to do. Needless to say, adding a project in Haynes could help boost Miami’s offensive line.

56.) Dallas Cowboys: Troy Franklin WR, ORE

Dallas might not need a receiver now but Brandin Cooks won’t play much longer. A vertical threat like Troy Franklin would be a great replacement for Cooks.

57.) Philadelphia Eagles (PROJECTED TRADE via TB): Payton Wilson LB, NCST

Secondary, linebackers, and depth. That’s all the Eagles really need. Wilson making his way to Philadelphia would provide great run support between Devin White and Payton Wilson.

58.) Green Bay Packers: Jaden Hicks SAF, WSU

Green Bay added Xavier McKinney via free agency. Jaden Hicks is rumored to be the first safety off the board. I don’t believe he will be so pairing him with another youngster in McKinney gives Green Bay youth in the secondary.

59.) Houston Texans: Mike Sainristil CB, MICH

Houston addressed the corner position in free agency but adding a versatile player like Michigan’s Sainrstil would provide great depth. He’s a corner that can line up anywhere. However, I would love to see him as a nickel.

60.) Los Angeles Rams (PROJECTED TRADE via BUF): Jeremiah Trotter Jr. LB, CLEM

The love for Clemson’s Trotter Jr. seems to have vanished. If any team can get something out of Trotter Jr., it’s the Rams.

61.) Detroit Lions: Bralen Trice EDGE, WASH

Adding depth to the Lions’ defense is a need. Bralen Trice would be a phenomenal No. 2 behind Aidan Hutchinson.

62.) Baltimore Ravens: Ricky Pearsall WR, UF

Baltimore does the correct thing by adding protection first. Now they can go get one of the more exciting receiver prospects in Florida’s Ricky Pearsall.

63.) San Francisco 49ers: Kingsley Suamataia OT, BYU

San Francisco seems to be in a youth movement on the offensive line in this mock. That’s not a bad idea, versatility and young projects are the type of prospects that the 49ers could look forward to for the next few years.

64.) Kansas City Chiefs: Kiran Amegadjie OT, YALE

I don’t expect to see Amegadjie as a day 1 starter. However, he has the potential to be a long-term starter for the foreseeable future.

2024 NFL Mock Draft: Round 3

65.) Carolina Panthers: Xavier Legette WR, SCAR

66.) Arizona Cardinals: Ja’Lynn Polk WR, WASH

67.) Washington Commanders: Chris Braswell EDGE, ALA

68.) New England Patriots: Tez Walker WR, UNC

69.) Los Angeles Chargers: Junior Colson LB, MICH
