NFL Player Props Week 12: Ravens vs. Chargers

The Harbaugh brothers face off in primetime on Monday Night Football in Week 12 as the Ravens and Chargers clash. Read on to discover my top picks for NFL player props in Week 12 for this thrilling showdown.

All props are from DraftKings.

Justin Herbert Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-120)

Herbert started the year slowly, averaging one passing touchdown per game over the first seven weeks, totaling one or fewer in all but one contest. However, the Chargers have put more on his plate lately, leading to more touchdown success. The superstar quarterback has averaged 1.8 passing touchdowns per game over the past month, totaling two scores in three of the contests, including last week, despite completing less than half of his pass attempts.

Last week, Russell Wilson had zero passing touchdowns in a defensive matchup against the Ravens. However, Baltimore’s pass defense had severely struggled before last week’s matchup, surrendering 2.8 passing touchdowns per game over their previous six contests. Furthermore, Bo Nix is the only quarterback not to have at least two passing touchdowns against the Ravens during those five games. Baltimore has given up three or more passing touchdowns in 36.4% of their games this season.

Derrick Henry Under 88.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

The superstar running back leads the NFL with 1,185 rushing yards despite Lamar Jackson leading all quarterbacks in rushing (584) entering Week 12. Henry has averaged 107.7 rushing yards per game, the second-most in the league behind Saquon Barkley (113.7). He averaged 124.7 rushing yards per game over the first seven weeks, totaling 150 or more in nearly half of those contests. However, the former Alabama star has struggled lately, especially against talented run defenses.

Unfortunately, Henry has averaged only 78 rushing yards per game over the past four weeks. The superstar had 73 or fewer rushing yards in three of the past four contests, including 68 or less in back-to-back games. Meanwhile, the Chargers have one of the top run defenses in the NFL. They have held running backs to 79.2 rushing yards per game since their bye week, surrendering 86 or fewer in four of six contests.

Quentin Johnston to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+185)

Many called Johnston a draft bust after his rookie season. The former TCU star had only two receiving touchdowns on 38 receptions last year. However, he has been significantly better in 2024. The second-year pro has six receiving touchdowns on 22 receptions this season. Johnston has had at least one receiving touchdown in 62.5% of his games, including three consecutive contests. Furthermore, the former TCU star is among the league leaders in receiving touchdowns.

Johnston is fourth in the NFL in receiving touchdowns, ranking only behind Ja’Marr Chase (12), Amon-Ra St. Brown (nine), and George Kittle (seven) heading into Week 12. Meanwhile, the Ravens have surrendered 16 touchdowns to wide receivers, the most in the NFL, allowing at least one in 72.7% of their contests, including two or more in 45.5% of the matchups. They have also given up a league-high 10 touchdowns to outside receivers.

Zay Flowers to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+155)

Baltimore’s passing attack has had some ups and downs this season. However, Flowers has remained the clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver despite the addition of Diontae Johnson. The second-year pro has four receiving touchdowns this year, ranking second on the team behind Mark Andrews (five). Yet, the former Boston College star has been on fire lately, totaling three receiving touchdowns over the past three games, including one last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Meanwhile, the Chargers have surrendered 11 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers this season, the eighth-most in the NFL. They’ve given up six receiving touchdowns to wide receivers over the past three weeks, including three to the Cincinnati Bengals duo in Week 11. More importantly, Los Angeles has had no answers for opposing No. 1 wide receivers lately, allowing Ja’Marr Chase and Calvin Ridley each to score two touchdowns against them over the past two weeks.

Joshua Palmer Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Hopefully, Ladd McConkey will be 100% healthy for Monday night’s matchup against the Ravens. However, the rookie receiver suffered a shoulder injury last week, forcing him to miss practice on Thursday. Even if McConkey is fine for the Week 12 matchup, Palmer’s receiving prop is too low. The veteran is the No. 3 wide receiver on offense behind the rookie and Quentin Johnston. Yet, he has averaged 40.6 receiving yards per game this year.

The veteran has had at least 36 receiving yards in 66.7% of the games despite averaging only 3.6 targets per contest. Palmer has had 36 or more receiving yards in six of the past seven games. Meanwhile, the Ravens have surrendered the most receiving yards to wide receivers, giving up 189.5 per contest. Furthermore, Baltimore had allowed wide receivers to average 223.2 receiving yards per game over their previous six contest before last week’s defensive matchup.
