NFL Sunday Football PrizePicks – 1/2

Benjamin coming at you again! It may be a new year but I’ve got some new picks over at PrizePicks  that I’m ready to cash in on in 2022! Don’t forget to check me out on Twitter (@FFRabbitDad) where I may throw out a last minute pick or two that I’ll be pouncing on before kickoff.

Michael Carter Under 14.5 Receiving Yards

It’s not a lot of yards, but it’s a mark that Carter has eclipsed since Week 10. With Wilson under center, the passing work just doesn’t funnel to the running backs as much as we’d like. On top of that, Tampa Bay doesn’t allow much from opposing backfields and held Alvin Kamara to just 13 receiving yards in Week 15. I’m going under on 14.5 but might flip if it drops below 12 yards.

Kyle Pitts Over 43.5 Receiving Yards

Buffalo is a tough defense that has allowed just three tight ends to surpass 50 receiving yards all season. Those tight ends were Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce and Dan Arnold. Pitts is at least in the same realm as those guys. Plus, he’s the main guy getting passes in the Atlanta air attack. Pitts has beaten 45 yards in three straight and he’ll do it again this week.

Patrick Mahomes Over 25.5 Completions

The Chiefs are trying to earn the coveted first round bye in the NFL playoffs. A win this week could do it and they’ll be pulling out all the stops. Mahomes has beaten this mark in back-to-back games as well as his previous start against the Bengals in 2017. In the last four week, three quarterbacks have also beaten 25 completions – the one outlier being Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock in a split Week 15 game. Easy over for a win this week.

Duke Johnson Under 28.5 Rushing Yards

While he did accomplish this task last week, he needed 13 carries to do it. Against the Tennessee defense with the toughest D-PAC score of 6.74 (the only score under 7) and three other possible runners to compete with, this is a pick I’m definitely willing to make. Najee Harris didn’t even make it to 20 yards with 12 attempts against the Titans in Week 15. Smash the under on this one before it drops again.
