Fantasy Football Outlook: The 2023 NFL Draft is less than a month away, meaning every team is leaking misinformation. However, that isn’t limited to the draft itself. Yet, New England could be shopping the former first-round pick.

Last year Jones completed 65.2% of his passes for 2,997 yards and 14 touchdowns while missing three games because of injury. By comparison, the former Alabama star completed 67.6% of his passes for 3,801 yards and 22 touchdowns as a rookie. While the team could be shopping the second-year quarterback, fantasy players should expect Jones back in New England next year.

Supposedly, some of the teams that are potential landing spots for Jones are the Buccaneers, Commanders, Raiders, and Texans.

Unless they land Lamar Jackson or trade up to the No. 3 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Patriots won’t get their hands on a better quarterback than Jones this off-season. Furthermore, I believe Jones deserves another year under center. Last year the Patriots had Matt Patricia running the offense despite being a career defensive-minded coach. Thankfully, that won’t be the case again in 2023.
