The FF Faceoff’s PGA Best Bet of the Day for the Honday Classic features Sung-jae Im, one of the top Korean-born golfers on the tour. Find out why Seth Keller believes Im will finish in the top 30 later in this article.

Im Sung-jae To Finish In The Top-30

The Honda Classic tees off Thursday 2/24. With a larger field, there are plenty of plays with good odds. However, betting golf can be extremely fickle just as playing the game can be. The best bet for this weekend is Im Sung-jae to finish in the top-30.

FanDuel has Im at -125 to finish in the top-20 but the extra ten spots to finish in the top 30 is still a steal at -145. Im has been finished top-20 in six of his nine events this season. Two of those misses he finished in 31st and 33rd place.

His consistency striking the ball has him seventh-best in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, averaging 1.514 strokes gained. His putting has been his weak spot his one-putt percentage and 3-putt avoidance are both outside of the top-120.

A good day putting and Im could run away with his second win of the season or his fifth top-10 finish.

An added bonus is Im to lead all Asian countrymen on the weekend. DraftKings has Im at +100 as a Nationality Prop. Without Hideki Matsuyama in the tournament, there is not a standout to challenge Im.
