Breece Hall (RB) Over 31.5 Receiving Yards

New York Jets @ Cleveland Browns

Depending on where you find your sportsbook odds, we’re looking at a low-scoring matchup on Thursday Night Football. The point total is 34.5 points on DraftKings and could very well end up changing. With that, we’ll be targeting Jets star running back, Breece Hall.

Last week, Hall had a monster performance through the air. In the end, he caught 12 of 16 targets for 96 yards. While the Browns are tough against opposing running backs, Hall can absolutely surpass this mark. Hall is arguably the best weapon on this offense, right there with Garrett Wilson. Notably, Hall has hit the over on this mark in 2 of his last 3 matchups, despite only playing on 40% of the snaps in Week 15 against Miami. Look for Joe Flacco to stay hot and produce, despite a tough matchup.

David Njoku (TE) Over 50.5 Receiving Yards

New York Jets @ Cleveland Browns

Next up is another pass catcher in this week’s TNF matchup, David Njoku of the Cleveland Browns. Despite being a tougher matchup on paper, the Jets do give up decent production to opposing tight ends. Look for Trevor Siemian to lean on his tight end once again, as Njoku has been very reliable as of late.

Over the last three weeks, Njoku has totaled 31 targets. This adds to his stellar season-long performance as he’s fourth in the NFL for all tight ends in targets with 115. That’s more than the star rookie Sam LaPorta and just two fewer targets than veteran Travis Kelce.

Furthermore, Njoku has scored four times in the last two games. In those games, he’s had 91, 104, and 44 receiving yards, respectively. Needless to say, Siemiam should look to Njoku once again with most of the focus on Amari Cooper, who just put up a ridiculous game with 265 receiving yards. Also, he’s banged up with a heel injury, so this may be even more of a reason to lean on Njoku.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR) Over 78.5 Receiving Yards

Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys

Heading into Week 17, this is the matchup with the highest point total on the slate. Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions will go on the road to face off against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. As of Thursday, this point total is set at 53.5 points on DraftKings. Needless to say, this is expected to be a bit of a shootout.

In a potential high-scoring matchup, it makes sense to target the stud wide receiver on the underdog team, Amon-Ra St. Brown. Since their bye week in Week 9, St. Brown has a touchdown in 5 of 7 games. Additionally, he has three games with over 100 receiving yards and another with 95. Notably, he’s hit the over on this 79.5 mark in 9 of 14 games this year. He’s also coming off a game where he played on 99% of the offensive snaps, which is the most he’s seen all year.

Technically, the Detroit Lions could still come out of the NFC as the number one seed. While it may not be likely, it’s possible and certainly something that the Lions have to consider. Overall, it’s setting up to be a big day for the Lions star wide receiver.

Rachaad White (RB) Over 91.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints

One player who has certainly had a breakout season this year is Rachaad White of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If you’re playing fantasy football, he’s currently the RB3 in PPR leagues and just continues to produce. With that, his line is set at 91.5 total yards from scrimmage and that’s worth attacking.

With a fairly average matchup for opposing running backs, look for White to have another solid performance in Week 17. In four straight games, White has more than 20 carries. Additionally, he has found the end zone in four straight games, with 2 touchdowns on the ground and 2 through the air. Needless to say, he’s heavily involved and a vital piece of this offense.

With a line of 91.5 yards, look for White to potentially go over this number with his rushing yards alone. He has 100, 84, 102, 89, and 32 rushing yards in his last five games. In a blowout last week, White saw his fewest snap percentage of the season with just 68% of the offensive snaps. However, he still saw 20 carries and the Bucs just didn’t need to use him much as this game was never close. Don’t hesitate to hit the over on this player prop bet.
