PrizePicks Week 6 – NFL Player Prop Bets
If you’re unfamiliar with PrizePicks, it’s a sportsbook where you bet on player prop bets. You can bet the over or under on a particular player, such as taking the over or under on Jayden Daniels‘ passing yards. For example, this week Daniels’ passing yards are set at 228.5 yards as of 10/11. You can either take the over or the under. This is similar, yet slightly different from a basic sportsbook such as DraftKings, and the lines can be slightly different.
Finally, you need to choose two or more picks to bet on. The more picks you bet on, the higher the possible return on investment. Continue reading to check out my PrizePicks Week 6 player prop bets.
Chuba Hubbard Over 60.5 Rushing Yards
So far this year, Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has quietly put together a solid season. In three straight games, he’s scored a touchdown. Additionally, he’s run for 114, 104, and 97 yards in the past three weeks. After starting off a bit slow, he’s slowly getting more volume and getting the production he needs to be a solid RB2 option for your fantasy football teams. Notably, he’s the RB8 in PPR leagues right now as well.
This week, Hubbard will face the Atlanta Falcons who just keep giving up production to opposing running backs. All five opposing starting running backs have gone over this mark this year against the Falcons:
- Najee Harris, 70 – Week 1
- Saquon Barkley 95 – Week 2
- Carson Steele 72 – Week 3
- Alvin Kamara 77 – Week 4
- Rachaad White 72 – Week 5
As long as rookie Jonathon Brooks remains on the PUP and Miles Sanders doesn’t get much volume, Hubbard is a safe bet to continue producing. I’m locking this one in for Week 6.
Derrick Henry Over 84.5 Rushing Yards
Despite his age and a new team in 2024, Derrick Henry leads all running backs in just about every category. Jordan Mason is the only running back with more yards, but that will change this weekend after Henry plays. He’s also tied for the most touchdowns of any running back with Rams running back Kyren Williams. Impressively, he’s also averaging 6.02 YPC, which is second in the NFL for all RBs with 50+ carries, behind just JK Dobbins.
This week, Henry faces the Washington Commanders who are one of the easier matchups on paper to run against. According to FantasyPros, the Commanders give up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs. All things considered, this could very well be Henry’s third 100+ rushing yard game in the last four weeks.
On PrizePicks, you can often get different odds on player lines. This week, you can take the over at 59.5, 84.5, or 99.5. As expected, the payout changes depending on high how or low you go. Depending on how much of a risk/reward you are interested in, all three of these lines are tempting for Henry in Week 6.
Rico Dowdle Over 43.5 Rushing Yards
After a slow start to the 2024 season, Rico Dowdle is slowly getting more volume. Since Week 1, his rushing yards have been increasing consistently, with 87 yards last week on 20 carries. The volume is promising and Dowdle has been far more efficient than veteran Ezekiel Elliott has been this year. Notably, he’s averaging 4.09 YPC to Elliott’s 3.27.
This week, the Cowboys get a tough matchup against Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions. They’re arguably the toughest matchup on paper against opposing running backs, but this is more about the volume. He’s gone over this 43.5-yard mark in two straight weeks. In what could very well be a high-scoring matchup, Dowdle should get plenty of work to hit this mark once again.
