NFL Player Props Week 10: Dolphins vs. Rams

Monday night, we have a matchup between Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins, and Matt Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams. While fans will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention, sports bettors only care about making money. With that, which NFL player prop bets will lead to cash in their pockets on MNF? Here are my five favorite prop bets for this Monday Night Football matchup. All NFL Player Props are from DraftKings Sportsbook.

Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-120)

Stafford is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL when his supporting cast is healthy. The future Hall of Famer had had three passing touchdowns over the first seven weeks. He didn’t have more than one passing touchdown in any game. However, Stafford has been significantly better since getting Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua back from injury. The veteran quarterback has six passing touchdowns over the past two weeks, totaling at least two in both games.

Miami has surrendered eight passing touchdowns to quarterbacks this season, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. They gave up only three passing touchdowns over the first seven weeks, surrendering one or fewer in every contest. However, opposing teams didn’t need to throw the ball against the Dolphins without Tagovailoa in the lineup as Miami’s offense was no threat. By comparison, the Dolphins have given up at least two passing touchdowns in both games since returned Tagovailoa from a concussion.

De’Von Achane Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Unfortunately, Achane left the Week 5 contest against the New England Patriots with a concussion after playing only 11 snaps. The second-year running back has averaged 57.4 rushing yards per game in the other seven contests, totaling 63 or more in over half of the matchups. Furthermore, Achane has been outstanding with his franchise quarterback. The star running back has averaged 70 rushing yards per game in the four contests that Tagovailoa started.

The former Texas A&M star has had 63 or more rushing yards in three consecutive games. Bettors should expect Achane to push that streak to four games on Monday night. The Rams have surrendered 109.4 rushing yards per game to running backs, giving up 91 or more in all but one contest this season. Furthermore, they have given up the sixth-highest missed forced tackle per attempt rate (17%) in the NFL (per Fantasy Points Data).

Kyren Williams to Score an Anytime Touchdown (-175)

While the odds on this bet are less than ideal, Williams is all but a lock to find the end zone on Monday night. The star running back has 10 touchdowns this season, the second-most in the NFL entering Week 10, only behind Derrick Henry (13). He has had at least one touchdown in all but one game this year. Williams had more games with over one touchdown (two) than not scoring at all (one).

Furthermore, the former Notre Dame star is also an excellent bet to score the first Rams touchdown (+155). Williams has had the first team touchdown in all but one game this season, including the first seven contests. More importantly, his matchup this week is outstanding. The Dolphins have surrendered 12 touchdowns to running backs, including the second-most rushing scores (10). They have given up at least one touchdown to running backs in every game this year.

Tyreek Hill Over 72.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Hill is one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had an ideal year because of Tagovailoa missing four games with a concussion. Unforuntately, the concussion concerns remain. Meanwhile, the superstar wide receiver has averaged 55.8 receiving yards per matchup in 2024, totaling 72 or more in 37.5% of the games. By comparison, the future Hall of Famer has been productive in the three games Tagovailoa played start to finish, averaging 94 receiving yards per contest.

Meanwhile, the Rams have struggled to slow down opposing wide receivers. They have surrendered 235 or more receiving yards to wide receivers in two games this season, including last week to the Seattle Seahawks core without DK Metcalf in the lineup. More importantly, Los Angeles gave up 144.2 receiving yards per game to Jameson Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr., Jauan Jennings, Justin Jefferson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, surrendering 115 or more to each wide receiver.

Jonnu Smith Over 33.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

The veteran has averaged 37.8 receiving yards per game this season, totaling 46 or more in half of the contests. However, Smith has played better lately. After averaging 19.5 receiving yards per game over the first four matchups, he has averaged 56 yards per game over the past four contests. Smith has over 45 receiving yards in three of the past four games, including last week. Furthermore, he has averaged 6.8 targets per game over the past four matchups. As a result, he was one of our top waiver wire options for this week in fantasy football.

More importantly, Smith has become a go-to weapon for Tagovailoa. The veteran has 12 targets in the two games since the star quarterback returned from a concussion, totaling four more than Jaylen Waddle (eight). Meanwhile, the Rams have surrendered 59.3 receiving yards per game to tight ends this year. Furthermore, they have given up 66.8 receiving yards per contest to tight ends over their past four matchups, allowing 40 or more in all but one game.
