Sunday Night NFL FanDuel Picks: Chiefs @ Raiders

0

Welcome to our single game breakdown for Week 10 Sunday Night Football. This article will provide a quick analysis of players to target on FanDuel for this matchup between the Chiefs and Raiders. We’re excited to announce that FF Faceoff is an official affiliate of FanDuel, so if you haven’t signed up yet, do so here. Let’s get right to it in Sunday Night NFL FanDuel Picks: Chiefs @ Raiders.

The Kansas City Chiefs get ready to travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders, in a pivotal divisional game. The Chiefs are currently 2.5 point road favorites and the game features a 52 point game total. For the Chiefs, Clyde Edwards-Helaire is still on IR and is considered “probably a stretch” to play according to head coach Andy Reid. For the Raiders, all players are full practice participants.

MVP Options

Patrick Mahomes ($17,000)

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have really struggled this season, but find themselves in a 52 point projected total. Mahomes, while struggling mightily for the last three weeks is still averaging 21.78 FanDuel points per game for the season. The Raiders pass defense has been above league average and is holding opposing quarterbacks to just 17.1 FanDuel points per game, but if Patrick Mahomes can get back to form it won’t matter. For his career, Mahomes is averaging just under 24 Fanduel points per game, so with some positive regression we know the ceiling performance games from Mahomes are elite and something we should be willing to get to in a single game contest.

Tyreek Hill ($14,000)

Tyreek Hill, despite the Chief’s offensive woes, has still put up 16.79 FanDuel points per game. Hill has gotten 9 or more targets in all but 2 games while averaging 11.2 targets per game. As mentioned earlier, the Raiders pass defense has been above league average, but I am still going to find ways to get to Tyreek Hill in this spot as his volume is simply too large to ignore. With his game-breaking speed and volume, Hill has massive upside with this high projected game total.

Flex Plays

Josh Jacobs ($12,500) and Kenyan Drake ($10,000)

Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake have both been big parts of this Raiders offense. Jacobs has been really consistent this season averaging 13.32 FanDuel points per game, receiving 15 touches per game. Given a tight spread in the game, Jacobs should receive a healthy amount of carries. However, if you believe the Chief’s offense puts them ahead, going to Kenyan Drake could be the play. Drake has been really good in the passing game for the Raiders and has had five or more targets four times. The Chiefs have been susceptible to running backs coming out the backfield, giving up the 9th most receptions and 5th most receiving yards to opposing running backs.

Darrel Williams ($11,000)

Since taking over as the lead back Darrel Williams has 24, 8, 19, and 22 touches. With Clyde Edwards-Helaire trending out, Williams should continue to receive the bulk of the carries and has been active in the passing game receiving four or more targets in his last four games. The Raiders have given up over 100 yards per game to opposing running backs and just over 22 FanDuel points per game, making Williams a good play in this spot.

Value Plays

Daniel Carlson ($9,000), Mecole Hardman ($8,000), and DeSean Jackson ($6,000)

Given the big price tags on a lot of the top plays, you will need some salary relief in your lineups. While these players do not have the same volume, each can put up double-digit fantasy points while giving you additional salary to pay up. Carlson has nine or more fantasy points in six of eight games. Mecole Hardman has averaged seven targets per game over his last five games and possesses breakaway speed providing us with big-play upside. DeSean Jackson will be making his debut for the Raiders, so it will be pure speculation on his role within the offense. Jackson boasts a career average of 17.5 yards per reception and has shown his speed before being released by the Rams to find a more consistent offensive role. Given his ultra-cheap salary, I am willing to throw a dart for his big-play upside.
