Super Bowl LVI kicks off on Sunday night, bringing another NFL season to a close. The Super Bowl represents a bittersweet time as there are no more football games for months, but the off-season is full of exciting events to follow, especially if you’re into dynasty football. The Super Bowl features two quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow, both in their first Super Bowl appearance. After such exciting playoff games, I am hoping the Super Bowl can deliver with the same excitement. Let’s get right to it in Super Bowl LVI Rams vs Bengals: Player Prop Bets.

Over/Under 48.5

Rams -4

Cam Akers Under 64.5 Rushing Yards (-110 BetUS)

Akers comes into the Super Bowl averaging just 50.3 yards per game in the playoffs. The Bengals’ defense allowed the 10th fewest rushing yards this season to running backs. Only four running backs hit over this rushing prop against the Bengals during the regular season. Akers has not gone over this prop in any of his games played this season and could possibly be without their top tight end if Tyler Higbee were to sit, who is a key run blocker for the Rams. Additionally, Sony Michel got back in the mix in their last game taking away 10 carries. Given the Bengals rush defense and Michel eating at his workload, I am betting on a 4th straight under.

Evan McPherson Over 7.5 Total Kicking Points (-120 Caesars)

Cincinnati’s golden leg Evan McPherson has hit four field goals in every playoff game so far and has covered this line in seven straight games and nine of his last ten. He is averaging 8.9 kicking points per game this season but has spiked to 11 over the last ten games. The Rams have given up the 12th most field goals this season, so look for McPherson to get plenty of opportunities to go over this number.

Matthew Stafford Over 279.5 Passing Yards (-115 BetMGM)

Matthew Stafford has shown out this season after being traded to the Rams. He is averaging 289.6 passing yards per game and has 330 plus yards in the last two playoff games. He is averaging 35.1 attempts per game but has thrown 38 and 45 times in both of the closely contested playoff games. As mentioned earlier the Bengals’ run defense has been good at limiting opposing running backs, but they have given up the 6th most passing yards this season. I expect the Rams to continue to put the ball in the hands of Matthew Stafford and his talented group of pass-catchers.

Joe Mixon Over 3.5 Receptions (-135 Caesars)

Joe Mixon comes into the Super Bowl hitting this line in four of his last five games, only missing against the Chiefs with three catches. The Rams give up five receptions per game to opposing running backs and have given up 16 to running backs already this postseason. With the offensive line troubles of the Bengals, I expect them to find Mixon out of the backfield to manufacture him more touches and evidenced by his 5.8 targets over his last five games. The Vegas line suggests the Bengals could be playing from behind which will mean more pass attempts and opportunities for Mixon.
