We’re now into Week 7 of the 2024 fantasy football season, which means it’s time for another round of tight end rankings and tiers. Last week saw some familiar names atop the scoring leaderboard with Cole Kmet catching multiple TDs, Mark Andrews popping up as a TE1 again, and Evan Engram returning from injury to have a big game.

Below, you will find my top 12 fantasy football TE rankings and tiers to get you ready for Week 7 in the NFL. Each week, I’ll separate them into tiers along with my “Start of the Week”.

Week 7 Fantasy Football TE Rankings: Start of the Week

David Njoku vs. Cincinnati Bengals

With the recent trade of former teammate Amari Cooper, David Njoku has a prime opportunity to receive extra targets in the Cleveland Browns offense.  After leading the team in receptions last week Njoku now faces the Cincinnati Bengals, a team that is one of the 10 worst in the league in fantasy points allowed against tight ends, according to our free D-PAC metric.

Despite QB Deshaun Watson’s horrid play so far this season, I like Njoku seeing significant volume in a game in which the Browns are underdogs. Njoku is a mid-range TE1 for me this week and someone I’m comfortable starting in my fantasy football lineup.
