Top 10 Dynasty WR Rankings 2025 | Must-Have Wide Receivers
The wide receiver has become the staple, the must-have for dynasty fantasy football leagues. Long gone are the days of centering your fantasy team around a top quarterback or a running back. Many in the fantasy community will focus on drafting elite young wide receivers to anchor their team for years, which is why dynasty WR rankings are an important tool for your success.
Top 10 Dynasty WR Rankings 2025
10 – Puka Nacua (Los Angeles Rams)
Last year’s 5th-round pick for the Rams, had one of the best rookie seasons of all time. Puka Nacua had 105 receptions, almost 1,500 receiving yards along with six touchdowns, ultimately finishing as the WR5 for the season.
Nacua’s ranking should be arguably higher, but there exist a few concerns. Firstly, fellow teammate Cooper Kupp returns fully healthy this year and has shown in the past to command quite a few targets.
Secondly, Nacua does have a bit of an injury history from college. Thirdly, and most importantly, this will most likely be quarterback Matthew Stafforfd’s last year before retirement. Backup quarterback Stetson Bennett is not the long-term answer.
9 – Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints)
The former 11th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, has finished as the WR25 in 2022 and WR20 last year. The quarterback play for Chris Olave during that time was spotty at best with a combination of Andy Dalton, David Carr, and Jameis Winston.
Furthermore, Olave had to compete with the ghost of Michael Thomas (when healthy) during that period. Olave enters the 2024 season as the guy and the No. 1 receiver for the Saints. He looks to build a stronger connection with quarterback Carr this season and hopefully finish the year as a WR1.
8 – Malik Nabers (New York Giants)
There are many in the fantasy football community who believe that the 5th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft can be equal if not better than Marvin Harrison Jr. He is that good.
Malik Nabers would be above London on this list if it weren’t for the fact that we have no idea how Daniel Jones will rebound this year after a poor 2023 season that was riddled with injuries and that saddled us with Tommy “Cutlets” DeVito and his Soprano’s wannabe agent. The Giants can get out of Jones’ contract after this season but with no future quarterback in the pipeline, Nabers does face some uncertainty with the quarterback position that London doesn’t.
7 – Drake London (Atlanta Falcons)
Unfortunately, since coming into the league, the former 8th overall pick in the 2022 draft has not lived up to expectations. In 2022, he finished as the WR38 and last year as the WR36.
Having Taylor Heinicke, Desmond Ridder, and Marcus Mariota as London’s quarterbacks certainly capped his performances and ceiling.
However, during the offseason, the Falcons solidified their quarterback situation for years to come. They signed Kirk Cousins to a massive four-year deal along with drafting his heir Michael Penix Jr. eighth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Wheels up for London.
6 – Marvin Harrison Jr. (Arizona Cardinals)
The 4th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft is one of the most anticipated and hyped wide receivers in the past 20 years. And that’s for good reason.
The future alpha receiver for the Cardinals has the size, skills, and pedigree to dominate for years to come.
Unlike Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr. was drafted into an excellent situation with Arizona. He will be the undisputed number one receiver and option for the Cardinals, and unlike Nabers benefits being thrown passes by quarterback Kyler Murray.
I am out on Harrison Jr. for redraft leagues this season (see my 2024 outlook on Harrison Jr.) but not for dynasty leagues. It would not be a shock to see him among the top three of this ranking for 2025.
5 – Garrett Wilson (New York Jets)
Despite horrible quarterback play for the past two seasons, Garrett Wilson still managed to finish as the WR23 and WR22.
Wilson had the 4th most targets among receivers last season and had a 30% target share for the Jets. He also led the league with a 46% air yards share. What hurt Wilson was his lack of touchdowns – only three last season.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers enters this season fully healthy and with it comes the hope of better quarterback play which could unlock Wilson’s massive potential.
There is concern about whether Rodgers can return back to form and if so for how long. If healthy, there would be no shock to see Wilson have a fantastic season and challenge for the overall No. 1 spot in my dynasty WR rankings.
4 – Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions)
The soon-to-be 25-year-old had a breakout season last year. He finished as the WR4 with 119 receptions, over 1,500 receiving yards, and ten touchdowns.
Amon-Ra St. Brown has a fantastic rapport with quarterback Jared Goff and is tied to him at least for the next four possibly five years as Goff signed a four-year extension during the offseason. As well, playing at least nine of your games every season in a controlled dome environment is a bonus.
Having many other offensive weapons to compete with on his team like Sam LaPorta, and Jameson Williams along with backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery prevent St. Brown from entering the top three of this list.
3 – Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
After finishing as the WR1 in 2022, Justin Jefferson had a disappointing season for fantasy. He missed seven games, lost quarterback Kirk Cousins midway through the season, and finished as the WR37.
However, for the season, Jefferson finished WR5 in points per game despite the multiple quarterbacks he played with once Cousins was injured.
The 25-year-old is one of the best receivers in the game. He gets knocked down a few spots due to the unknown with his future quarterbacks. How will Sam Darnold fare this season? Will rookie first-round pick J.J. McCarthy play at all this season? If so, how will the connection be with Jefferson? There is too much unknown to rank Jefferson number one.
2 – CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys)
Ever since he came into the league in 2020, CeeDee Lamb‘s production has increased each year – from WR20 to WR15 to WR6 to ultimately WR1 last season.
The only reason that Lamb is number two on this list is due to his current contract holdout. Additionally, the fact that quarterback Dak Prescott is only signed through the upcoming season. However, this should get resolved sooner rather than later and you can absolutely make a case for him as the WR1 in dynasty leagues.
1 – Ja’Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengals)
As a rookie in 2021 for the Bengals, Ja’Marr Chase had a fantastic season, finishing as the WR5. Unfortunately, injuries to himself and quarterback Joe Burrow over the past two seasons have sidetracked the 24-year-old’s growth. In 2022 he finished as the WR16 and last season as the WR10.
Chase gets the number one slot due to the fact that he will be tied to an elite quarterback in Burrow for years to come. As well, teammate and fellow receiver Tee Higgins will probably move on after 2024, leaving Chase to be THE receiver in Cincinnati and atop my dynasty WR rankings.
