Continue reading to check out my favorite 3 NFL DSST streaming options for Week 6.

Top 3 D/ST Fantasy Football Streaming Options – Week 6

We’re considering a few key factors when looking to stream a D/ST. Notably, you might want to consider home teams who have a low point total according to a top sportsbook such as DraftKings. However, there are certainly plenty of other factors that come into play when streaming. Continue reading to check out my 3 top D/ST streaming options for Week 6.

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots

First up for this week’s streaming DST options is the Houston Texans defense. After facing the Buffalo Bills this past week, their rostered percentage on Sleeper has dropped significantly. Right now, the Texans DST is rostered in 23% of leagues, which is down 36% from last week. This is expected, but now they get the Patriots who have struggled mightily this year.

This week, the point total for this matchup is just 37.5 according to DraftKings Sportsbook as of Tuesday morning. This makes it the third-lowest total for Week 6.

Since Week 3, the Patriots have had the worst offense in EPA. Additionally, this Patriots offensive line is arguably the worst in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Texans are number 1 in the NFL in pressure percentage.

The Texans’ next three games are at the Patriots, at the Packers, then back at home against the Colts.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns

Despite being one of the worst defenses in the league this year, the Philadelphia Eagles are a solid streaming option for Week 6. This week, they are at home against Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns. The Eagles are in a get-right spot after their bye week and desperately will be looking to get on track.

This point total is average, at 43.5 for the week. With a banged-up offensive line for the Browns in combination with the poor quarterback play, this could be a breakout week for the Eagles defense. Look for the Eagles to apply plenty of pressure on Watson and bounce back after the bye week. Notably, this Eagles DST is currently rostered in just 21% of Sleeper leagues as well.

The Eagles’ next three games are against the Browns, at the Giants, and at the Bengals. You could very well use them for this week as well as in Week 7.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Coming off a solid week against the Raiders, the Broncos were a solid streaming DST option last week. Now, they get the Chargers at home and their roster percentage is fairly high on Sleeper at 75%. That being said, the Broncos defense is legit and deserves some respect at this point.

This week, the Broncos face Justin Herbert and a mediocre Chargers offense. This could very well be a low-scoring affair as the total is currently at 35.5, making it the lowest total on the slate. Denver also gets three juicy matchups in a row, making them a must-roster at this point.

The Broncos’ next three games are against the Chargers, at the Saints, and back home against the Panthers.

Bonus – Minnesota Vikings DST

This Vikings defense is legit and is a must-roster at this point. However, they’re on their bye week for Week 6. Right now, the rostered percentage on Sleeper is at 73%. If you can afford the roster spot, it’s certainly worth taking a look at and stashing for the rest of the season. Additionally, with the bye week, you may potentially see them getting dropped in some leagues, as they have the bye and then they’re in a tough spot in Week 7 against Jared Goff and the Lions.
