The Miami Dolphins star wide receiver recently said in an interview that he would retire after the 2025 NFL season. (Source: NFL.com)

Fantasy Football Outlook: It’s odd that Hill would share this information at this time. The superstar wide receiver is coming off arguably the best year of his career in 2022, totaling 119 receptions on 170 targets for 1,710 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Hill recently was interviewed on Sports Radio 810 WHB. During this interview, he said he has personal and business interests outside of playing wide receiver in the NFL that he wants to get into.

That being said, his retirement plans have no impact on his redraft fantasy football value. Additionally, Hill should remain a top-five wide receiver in all redraft leagues later this summer. However, has his dynasty fantasy football value changed? The answer is no.

According to his timeline, Hill will play three more years in the NFL. Furthermore, he won’t turn 30 years old until after the 2023 season. More importantly, nothing is set in stone. The superstar wide receiver could change his mind next week or three years from now. Even if he retires after the 2025 season, fantasy players have three more years of Hill playing at an elite level.

Take advantage of the news and buy low on the superstar wide receiver.
