Week 1 Fantasy Football TE: Start of the Week
Evan Engram at Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins allowed the fifth most points to tight end during the 2023 season. Notably, the Dolphins enter this game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with the second-highest over/under of Week 1.
The Dolphins defense looks to be weaker this season, while the offense should be electric once again. As a result, Trevor Lawrence may need to throw and put up points to keep pace in this one. Personally, I’m banking on a shootout in Miami.
Furthermore, with Lawrence building chemistry with newcomers Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas Jr., Evan Engram should have the opportunity to see a heavy workload in this juicy matchup. Look for last season’s TE2 to pick right back up where he left off as a target hog in this Jaguars offense.
