Week 10 DFS Cheat Sheet

0

This week, with injuries, byes, and all the other random nonsense happening in the NFL, there are a few guys you must target in DFS. We will discuss the expensive players, the punts, and everything in between. DFS is all about value, and this week, there is a  bunch of that. I’ll break it all down here in this Week 10 DFS Cheat Sheet.

Prices are for DraftKings

Quarterbacks

Expensive: Josh Allen ($7,900) Tom Brady ($7,600) Justin Herbert ($7,300) Aaron Rodgers ($7,100) Dak Prescott ($6,700) Russell Wilson ($6,700)

This week is tough up top at quarterback, all of these options are viable. Allen, Herbert, and Prescott are all due to have get-right games, and Rodgers/Wilson return this week against each other in what should be a high-scoring game. Then there is Brady, with a cupcake matchup. You won’t go wrong with any of these four, but I lean Prescott coming off an embarrassing week against a suspect Atlanta defense.

Cheap: Carson Wentz ($5,900), Trevor Lawrence ($5,300)

This is where I am gonna live this week. Wentz is way too cheap, and he is coming off of three straight 20+ point performances. I will lean away from Lawrence if James Robinson doesn’t play, but if he does, this defense has proven to be vulnerable and the Colts will score. Wentz is the safer play, but Lawrence will have every opportunity to match him, and likely won’t be able to rely on the ground game as Indy takes over. Wentz’s biggest concern is a huge lead and pounding the run. Wentz may be chalky, but I don’t think it matters.

Running Backs

Expensive: Jonathan Taylor ($8,100) Dalvin Cook ($8,000) Najee Harris ($7,900) Austin Ekeler ($7,800)

Taylor is chalk and lately a lock for me. He is like what Derrick Henry was the first six weeks. Cook is var overdue for a huge game. Harris would be a lock also if Mason Rudolph wasn’t throwing him the ball. If the Steelers try to run too much with that line, I don’t like Harris either. Who’d have thunk we would miss Big Ben? Ekeler and the entire Chargers lineup should explode this week, That being said, there is some incredible value at running back this week, and it might be beneficial to punt this position.

Cheap: Nyheim Hines ($5,000) Javonte Williams ($5,000) D’Ernest Johnson ($4,700) Mark Ingram ($4,500) Brandon Bolden ($4,400)

The Hines and Taylor combo is super interesting at that price, and Javonte Williams is criminally underpriced, though he should be chalkier than an elementary blackboard. Same for Johnson with the Chubb news. Then you get Ingram without Kamara, and Bolden without Harris in a game they may be behind in. It is highly likely I fill running back and also flex positions with these guys, and go big spending at elsewhere. Beware the chalk.

Wide Receivers

Expensive: Davante Adams ($7,900) AJ Brown ($7,800) Terry McLaurin ($7,600) Stefon Diggs ($7,500) Mike Evans ($6,900) Mike Williams ($6,600) Michael Pittman ($6,300)

Davante Adams with Rodgers returning will be the highest-scoring wide receiver of the week, and his price dropped because of last week. Get him this week, don’t mess around. AJB is also intriguing despite a likely tough db on him in Lattimore. But he won’t be chalky, and he has become their offense sans Henry. McLaurin and the WFT will be behind and throwing a lot, making him worthy of consideration. Diggs and the Bills have a huge game coming, but I am off Diggs most weeks, same for Hopkins, with the evolution of Allen and Murray meaning more even distribution. Evans, WIlliams, Pittman, and the Cowboys wide receivers are moreso stacks with the quarterback I am using. All have safe floors with high ceilings this week.

Cheap Values: Emmanuel Sanders ($5,700) Marvin Jones ($5,800) Donovan Peoples-Jones ($4,800) TY Hilton ($4,700)

I love the value of Donovan Peoples-Jones and TY Hilton this week. The other two are solid options I will lean more in the 50-50s rather than tournaments. Don’t pivot from  Davante Adams this week. There is a ton of value elsewhere, don’t be afraid to pay up for Adams.

Tight Ends

Dawson Knox ($4,500)

Don’t overthink this. He is too cheap, and he was tearing the league a new one before breaking his hand. I will look nowhere else this week, I don’t care if he is chalky. Pat F would be a better option if Mason Rudolph didn’t poo on his front lawn. Ricky Seals-Jones is a nice cheap option, but I’m getting value elsewhere and locking down Knox everywhere.

DST

matchbets-promo-codeBills ($4,000) Cowboys ($3,000) Titans ($2,600) Lions ($2,300)

I like the Cowboys and Titans at their price the most. Turnovers are good in DFS. The Bills are the easiest and likely are chalky with the value available, which makes the Lions a very interesting pivot, that could wind up chalky as well when people remember Mason Rudolph is garbage at football. You can’t go wrong with any of these defenses.

Good luck fellow DFSers, may your guys not get pulled in the red zone, and may your lineups stay healthy. As always, happy football.
