The bye weeks are over and Week 15 is here with a bang. We have 10 games on this slate as not only do we have a Sunday and Monday night game, but we also lose six teams to a Saturday Slate. If you thought the Sunday Main Slate was going to be easy, well you’re in for a treat this week!
Before I break down all of our picks, here are the most notable scoring rules for DraftKings contests: Full-point PPR, four-point passing TDs, three-point bonuses for 100 rushing yards, 100 receiving yards, and 300 passing. Along with having a $50,000 budget to build a complete lineup. Let’s get right into it with these Week 15 DraftKings Bargain Bin Plays and DFS Values.

QUARTERBACKS
Desmond Ridder ($5,200)
I’ve been pounding the table for Desmond Ridder to start and here we are 15 weeks later. Marcus Mariota was winning games but in hideous ways. Luckily, Mariota lost four of the last five games going into the bye and the change was made. Ridder possesses dual-threat capabilities like Mariota and hopefully can kickstart this team in the right direction. The Falcons have nothing to lose and need to see what they’ve got in their rookie quarterback.
Ridder showed promise in the three preseason contests completing 34 of 56 passes for 431 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions while also carrying the ball eight times for another 58 yards. He’s worth taking a shot on this week with such a low price tag.
Davis Mills ($5,000)
If you like living on the edge, then Davis Mills is your play. After regaining the starting job in Houston, Mills completed 16 of 21 passes for 175 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. The lack of trusting him by the Texans will throw up a red flag because you don’t know when he’s going to get pulled for Jeff Driskel. It’s clear the Texans are also interested in the 2023 rookies as they’ll likely be getting the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Going against the Kansas City Chiefs, I’m hoping for some garbage time production out of Mills.
RUNNING BACKS
Ezekiel Elliott ($6,200)
Over the last six games, Ezekiel Elliott has scored at least 15 DK points. The surprising thing about this too is that he’s $900 cheaper than Tony Pollard, but he’s the lottery ticket that can win you a week. But so can Elliott. The Dallas Cowboys have a nice thunder-and-lightning setup here with these two running backs. Elliott has scored eight touchdowns over his last six games. This week should be nine if not 10.
D’Andre Swift ($5,700)
Many in the community were thrilled to get D’Andre Swift in their Week 14 lineups after his Week 13 performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars. We all thought the injuries were behind him and he was going to be on the up and up. That didn’t happen this last week as Swift only had nine opportunities.
The Lions offense was firing on all cylinders last week in the passing game, but Swift didn’t produce as much as the wide receivers did. With the Jets defensive line being one of the best, I can see Swift being used heavily in the receiving game as Jared Goff could be under a lot of pressure.
Zonovan Knight ($5,300)
When you think of generosity, it’s easy to look at the Lions run defense. Dalvin Cook was bottled up against them this last week but that was a shootout in the passing game as the Vikings were always trailing. Zonovan Knight has now produced games of 14, 15, and 17 rushing attempts as rookie Breece Hall has been on the sideline.
Even with Michael Carter coming back, it was still Knight who led this backfield in touches 19-8 to Carter. My money is still on Knight as the running back to own from this backfield.
Rex Burkhead ($4,600)
With Dameon Pierce out for the next few weeks that leaves Rex Burkhead as the next man up. He didn’t do much with rushing or receiving but earlier this season Burkhead was averaging five targets and 20.5 receiving yards. You may look in shock at this and wonder why, but he could be the only running back worth using in this backfield. With DraftKings being PPR, we could see Burkhead get 12-plus points just from catching dump-offs from Mills.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Mike Williams ($6,300)
When it comes to bargain plays and values, I’m all for Keenan Allen ($6,800) who is a PPR monster even as the eighth-highest wide receiver. I’m willing to go down $500 more and take Mike Williams too. The Tennessee Titans are a funnel defense who have given up the second most passing yards over their last five games. Williams has been very boom/ bust, but when he booms (24.98) he hits big, and busts (6.5), well you get the point.
Garrett Wilson ($6,000)
Since Mike White has become the starting quarterback, Garrett Wilson has had 19 receptions for 335 receiving yards and two touchdowns. That’s 38.5% of his total yards, 30% of his receptions, and 50% of his touchdowns. Okay, the touchdowns are fluky as Wilson only got his other two touchdowns in Week 2.
It’s crazy to say he is the overall WR4 over these last three weeks and is only $6,000. Fire him up against the Detroit Lions who have been giving up the fourth most points to wide receivers including a massive 223-yard game to Justin Jefferson, the most in a single game of his career.
Drake London ($4,700)
This is totally off the play of Ridder because Drake London has been mediocre since his Week 1-3 start. Can Ridder bring out the best of London and give us what we loved so much to start the season with? I hope so in a tough divisional matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($3,800)
If you’ve heard me on Beer Fueled Podcast, you know my obsession with Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He only has one touchdown on the season and that was back in Week 10. Since then he hasn’t done much. I keep throwing him into lineups thinking this is the week. Patrick Mahomes has overthrown him a few times, but that doesn’t show up in the box score. At this price, he’s worth a cheap play here in a dome. Who doesn’t want to see a long bomb to MVS on Sunday?
TIGHT ENDS
Greg Dulcich ($3,600)
With Courtland Sutton going down in Week 13 Greg Dulcich has 16 targets good for nine receptions and 127 yards. Although the touchdowns haven’t been there this season, the targets have. With Russell Wilson looking to be out at least for Week 15, Brett Rypien will be starting under center. He was 4/8 for 16 yards and a touchdown, and none of his targets were to Dulcich. I still like Dulcich this week even if Sutton is to return as his opportunity share should still hold pat.
Juwan Johnson ($3,400)
Touchdowns are all Juwan Johnson does and when it comes to starting a tight end, and if you get one, well that’s pretty much a TE1 week. Outside of Week 13’s goose egg, Johnson was averaging 13.77 DK points over that touchdown streak period. Against the Falcons we could see him score once again as they have given up the third most fantasy points to the tight end position along with a touchdown to the position in back-to-back games.
DST
Atlanta Falcons ($2,500)
There’s the good Andy Dalton and then there’s the bad one. It could be a three-touchdown game or multiple interceptions with a sack or three. The Falcons have ranked second against the quarterback position in their last few games and could give Dalton a hard time.
