Week 1 saw the “Monday Night Screw Job” to many fantasy football managers with the last-minute notice of Christian McCaffrey being inactive and now subsequently on IR with a calf injury along with Achilles tendonitis. Then came Week 2, where Isiah Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula to his right ankle which will cause him to miss up to a minimum of 6-8 weeks. Week 3 Fantasy Football RB Rankings: Start of the Week

Zamir White vs. Carolina Panthers

There are much safer picks to choose from among my top 24 running backs than Zamir White. Alexander Mattison has two touchdowns in the Raiders backfield. Not White. Needless to say White has been a disappointment so far this season, especially when it comes to his production. However, White has had 27 total touches after two weeks compared to 13 for Mattison.

This week the Raiders play at home against the lowly Carolina Panthers, who just recently announced that Andy Dalton would be taking over as the starting quarterback for Week 3. Unfortunately for Bryce Young. The New Orleans Saints in Week 2 rushed for over 200 yards against the Panthers and Alvin Kamara had a total of four touchdowns. It may not get any better than this matchup against the Panthers. If you aren’t going to start White this week, then when will you?
