Week 6 Running Back Rankings and Tiers – Fantasy Football
Week 5 was rather an underwhelming week for the running back position. Unfortunately, injuries and the bye week contributed to this as well. The week did see the continued breakout of D’Andre Swift. Do we call it a breakout still or has Swift arrived? Only time will tell. Continue reading for our Week 6 running back rankings for fantasy football.
We also saw the emergence of Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby, which at best will lead to an ugly committee with Travis Etienne Jr. Rookie Tyrone Tracy rushed for almost 130 yards with Devin Singletary out with an injury. There was also the continued disappointment of top picks Breece Hall and Bijan Robinson. Is it time to panic with these two high-end picks?
Off to Week 6 and the continuation of the bye week. That means no Kyren Williams, Aaron Jones, and De’Von Achane, but the bye week may have come at an opportune time for the latter two who suffered injuries in Week 5. Here you will find my top 24 Fantasy Football RB rankings and tiers for Week 6. Each week, I’ll separate them into tiers along with one “Start of the Week.” Let’s get right to it.

Week 6 Fantasy Football RB Rankings: Start of the Week
Chase Brown at New York Giants
Did you know that Chase Brown has had back-to-back RB1 weeks, scoring 14.9 and 22.2 half-PPR fantasy points? Brown has been splitting time with fellow teammate Zack Moss, who was injured late in the game last week against the Baltimore Ravens. Moss may miss this week’s upcoming contest against the Giants and/or may be limited which would lead to more touches and scoring opportunities for Brown.
Furthermore, the Giants have given up double-digit fantasy points each of the last four weeks to opponent running backs. Notably, Kenneth Walker III (11.1) Rico Dowdle (12.6 points), Aaron Jones (17.9), and Brian Robinson Jr. (14.1). As a result, low double-digit fantasy points seem like the floor with Brown with the potential for more. All things considered, this makes Brown our start of the week for Week 6.
