2021 D-PAC Strength of Schedule

0

Using my Defensive Points Allowed Consistency (D-PAC) scores from the 2020 season and the team’s average points allowed to each position, I was able to devise a score for each team versus each fantasy football position. Plugging these scores into the upcoming 2021 schedule, I was able to calculate which teams had the most, or least, friendly schedule for each fantasy football position in my 2021 D-PAC Strength of Schedule.

Ranked from best to worst, the corresponding tables can help you make smart draft day decisions on mid to late-round picks. Perhaps you’re struggling between two eighth-round receivers, like JuJu Smith-Schuster and Deebo Samuel. By checking the D-PAC Strength of Schedule table for wide receivers, you can see the San Francisco 49ers have the friendliest ranked schedule for receivers while the Pittsburgh Steelers rank 11th. If all other things are considered equal between those two players, this should tip the scales in Samuel’s favor. It is also colored to show you top-five matchups, highlighted in green, that you would want to target streaming players against. As well as bottom-five matchups, highlighted yellow with red text, that you would want to avoid with players that rotate in and out of your lineups. Obviously, you’ll need to take these with a grain of salt as off-season moves can change things a bit, but this is a nice tool to help you make some tough decisions in your fantasy drafts.
