Fantasy Football Outlook: A few things come to mind after Lazard signed a 4-year deal with the Jets. The Lazard deal might be a precursor to setting up a trade that would send Aaron Rodgers to the Big Apple. Lazard should slot into the number two option in the Jets’ offense behind Garrett Wilson.
The Lazard signing impacts Elijah Moore more than anyone. With the addition of another weapon to the Jets’ offense, Moore is now the third option in the receiving game. The Jets already alluded that they are not interested in trading Moore away even though teams are interested. No clear path to production makes Moore’s future fantasy outlook relatively bleak.
Lazard’s stock is trending upward if Rodgers follows him to New York. Garrett Wilson’s stock remains the same as before the Lazard signing, and Elijah Moore’s stock is trending downward. The fantasy space and NFL community are waiting for Aaron Rodgers’s decision.
